  Awesome collection. Lots of stuff to read and gawk at.

  I was tempted to buy the deluxe version with the Batmobile but figured this set would do. It's got all the shows, a few interviews and docos and that's pretty much all I need.

    Probably shot on film, making both the aspect ratio and a high quality transfer possible.

    Older TV has that advantage. When they went straight to video, or partial video in the case of special effects sequences (eg, Star Trek TNG and later), doing a high quality transfer becomes much harder.
