Problem is both devices are fairly outdated models with somewhat un-exciting price tags.
The moto G3 also doesn't have B28, which is present in the current G4 model.
Yeh can't blame the OP as they probably didn't know but yeah definitely outdated now, and ripoff deal from Aldi. Should stay away for sure

Mine's been going great for several months. Have had several Moto G models over the years, and this has been the best yet.
g4 plus is a fantastic phone unless you received a defective unit. best budget camera! photos only lsightly worse than the oneplus 3!
Yeah g4 same price ….Aldi aren't the quickest when it comes to tech and pricing…..Last year selling Xbox one refurbished for same price as new at Target and big w.
I have a g4 plus ….Great phone and now has android 7 OTA .
Then I shall mention that I've had one for over 6 months and am happy with it.

LG dab+ was $249 in Majura park, ACT on weekend but only 2 handsets.
Still $279 @ St.Kilda ALDI, which is the cleanest and most tidy store in the land, 12 staff all cleaning & polishing etc, MD of AUS and Ze Germans are in town….
BTW incorrect scan price ie alleged free, does NOT apply to a discounted item [sadly]:-)
I use a G3 for over 18 months now, great phone and no issues, only issue is 2nd SIM is 2g. I would get Motorola again. The price is what I paid over 18 months ago, so nothing special here
My son used the G3 for over 18 months and if he hadn't taken it for a swim it would still be going strong. I think at $250 this phone is good(not great) value.
The fact that you recently could (can?) get a G4 Plus for $50 more makes this terrible value.
Been a few weeks now
