Let us know the second you have KEYone available for pre-order.

    • I want the KEYone and Nokia 6

      • The price point for the Nokia 6 is spot on, isnt it?
I wrote a little piece about it, hold on, I'll copy paste it from my tech forum….

**"There really are only 4 "Mainstream" mobile types.
        1. Those who want an iPhone.
        2. Those who want "A Samsung".
        3. Those who want "The cheapest" no matter what (or the few who want "the most expensive" no matter what).
        4. Those who want a "Value" workhorse.

It's the group 4 Nokia will do well (and is doing well) in targeting.
My father is a good example, builder, not greatly tech savvy, but wants a phone.
I got him an Oppo F1, its brilliant! in EVERY sense of the word!
Value, no bloat, long battery life, clear screen, all the thing HE cares about.

Those who look for a value workhorse type phone, will love the long battery life, the 4GB of ram for webpages and no app re-loads, and the 1080p will be "wow sharp!" for most of that group, compared to what they'd normally buy at 560\720p or so.

It wont be for me, but I can see where they're coming from, and if they market it well, it'll work."**

For me, I message a lot, and watch videos rarely. They KEYone is all I need to be happy again.
Fvck those god damn flat pieces of non tactile glass.
You'd think they mobile industry would have noticed the success keyboard manufacturers got moving from "Smooth membrane" to "Clicky Mechanical", going backward in terms of tech? yes (minus N key rollover). However, clearly better? For sure.

Flat glass is boring. QWERTY? something new to actually touch.

Damn that phone looks ugly as hell.

      • Which one?
And really who cares, so do drag cars, but if you want to go 1/4 of a mile in below 5 seconds, thats your answer.
If I want to send text communique involving complex words (like computer code, as I do often) and NOT fight with autocorrect, QWERTY is the answer.

        • Plenty of ways around auto correct like turning it off.

        • @Axelstrife:
I drop to below 65wpm typing speed when I do that, and error rate can get as high as 10%.

And I'm far from alone in those statistics.
I had a few friends 'test' their ability too. From 16yos to 45yos, they all slow right down, OR get massive error rates with it off.

While some people will say "well type on a laptop", fair enough, but sometimes when you're out on the town, and the domain controller goes down, you remote in with whatever you have on hand. That's always the phone.

I mean I had to rebuild a storage array while at the pub once; took about 25 lines of code, couldnt risk spelling errors, it took me almost half an hour to input basic commands and be 'sure i did it right'.

Besides, you're the first "thats ugly" ive heard, to each their own, but for most of us, its the first professional looking phone in YEARS.

iPhones and Samsung phones, you just 'assume the person is on facebook' or 'playing angry birds'.
An actual "Phone" with buttons and such, suggests business. IMO.

Would you be able to source Sony Xperia X Compact or Z5 Compact?

  • I tend to drop my phone as soon as I step onto tiles and concrete.
Had a bumper case on a Sony z1 and it's still going strong, except battery won't last the day and Sony dropped support.
Anyone think the z5 is much improved? Wait for z6?

    • +1

Close mate has a z5. The features are absolutely amazing, but the battery life if you use it heavily is poor, at best.
This was on a brand new phone out of the box, basic social media apps only.

    • Don't think there's going to be Z6?
Their flagship are now the XZ series.

      • What's the difference between z5 and xz?
seeing as I'm too slack to look up for myself
Looking for in-depth review, interviews, man on the street perspective, u tube videos and finally will it blend?

    • I would recommend the Xperia X Performance. Was 599 at sony online recently.

    • Just read that the Sony xz premium will be out around may. Specs look good.

      • XZ premium looks very promising indeed

        • XZs with 960 frames a second video sounds a good jump up from my Z5 but its not gunna be $499.

There isn't going to be a z6. Was thinking about a z5 premium myself but still too expensive. Great phone from what I have seen. Think I will go for xz f8332 though. Can anyone vouch for any of the cheaper stores on ebay for the Sony xz f8332 for around $580.

  • I want a z5 compact mobile city please
