  For the life of me I can't figure out a business plan that works with lifetime paid up customers.

  Unless it's take the money and run or hope that many of your customers stop using the service.

  What is the deal with lifetimme plans and VPNs?

    Generally its to get customers in to start with and advertise the brand. Sometimes PureVPN also do this but its a 5 year subscription then you need to apply for an extension for another 5 years. Lifetime = 5 years.

  I'm still with Getflix but considering shifting to something else for easier integration with VPN Manager on my Raspberry Pi.

  Anyone tried both services and have a comparison from user experience?
