Yes but no free delivery. Was surprised by the back to school email.
Summer school lol
Doesn't Coles and Woolworths roll out the hot cross buns on boxing day too?
Retail is dead nobody everyone just moving stuff earlier. I mean soon we're going to have a 2100 new millennium sale in 2028
Having worked with these types of marketing departments. They’re either slow to market so get in early, or are trying to get in before everyone spends their money elsewhere.
Trying to challenge these ideas is so difficult.
Same price delivered direct from Lenovo too
Not included in the post because many people on here hate 27" FHD
yep i think 27 should be 2k unless someone really have bad eyes but still 27 fhd would be what too big and waste of real estate
Whats your opinion on 34 inch curved monitor?
@ATTS: 2k minimum as well, because usually the curve is ultra wide, which means they are not the real 34" but probably more closer to 27-29"
@CyberMurning: Thanks!
@ATTS: I hope i was explaining cleary its about the ratio as well not just the size that you see on title.
@CyberMurning: Thanks. Yes i think i understand its like the display resolution settings ( for the specific monitor size
That you can set on windows.
As qn example
2K monitors with a display resolution of 2560x1440
Im on my phone but a quick google seems to be right
Is that correct?
@ATTS: Nope… the screen ratio…
https://www.displaywars.com/
Go input 2 monitors one your 34" curve ultrawide (i assume, find the resolutionand get the ratio), and the other one 29" with normal ratio 16:9.
@CyberMurning: Thanks. Sorry my bad. Totally off :(
Havnt got the ultrawide yet but meaning to upgrade
@ATTS: Yep just pick one from store or one posted here, get the size and ratio and compare the on that website
@CyberMurning: Thanks and thats to get the optimum ratio?
Shouldn't go above 24" for 1080p imo, PPI drops too much.
Yes, and these cheaper Lenovo monitors have low sharpness/contrast.
People always shit on them but I find they still have their uses. My aging mother being one of them. And even then I had to increase the display scaling to 150%.
better get 27" 2K for $199 - 70$ more
Sadly cloud grey colourr pretty much clashes with the entirety of my setup.
$17 paint from bunnings will solve that issue
$17 for a can of aerosol paint??
That stuff is $4 from the local cheapy shop (Crazy Clarks etc). If you're going to do it wrong at least do it cheap.
The colour looks really good. Nice and modern. Black/dark monitors are ugly, and make your room/desk look small and dark.
VESA mounting too. Now I need a dozen of them.
probably a stoopid question but can this be used with a new macbook air?
You need a usb c hub with hdmi
Wouldn't you be able to use a USB C to HDMI cable? I might be wrong though.
Yes
Yes, but macOS is designed to work with high DPI screens, so it can look a bit "wrong" with lower resolution displays. Text in particular is not great.
Unfortunately the market for 24" 4K displays is non existent though, so if that's the size you want then there are limited choices. There are some 1440p 24/25" monitors that work a bit better, especially if you force HiDPI to get a form of antialiasing.
thsi better than the kogan ones?
Anything is better than Kogan anything. Anything.
thanks man that's all I needed to know :D
Reminder of Amex spend 140, get 30
Why are you calling it 23.8"? It's 24 inches.
There is another one for $87 that's 23.8 inches. I have this one, and I love the colour and size (thin). Looks very modern. Similar specs except 4ms response time instead of 1ms. However, the screen itself is not that good. Compared to other FHD monitors I've used it's not very sharp, low contrast, and low dynamic range. If you turn up the contrast/brightness, you get blown areas in the highlights. But still good for an emergency 2nd monitor if you've got too much happening on your main monitor.
Read the specifications on Lenovo's website. It is 23.8".
That $87 monitor has limited stock left nationwide as it is on clearance and has a lower contrast ratio.
ok, so Officeworks description is wrong. You're right about the contrast ratio. Static contrast ratio of 1300:1 vs 1500:1. Dynamic contrast ratios are the same.
They're calling it 23.8" because it's 23.8" lol

Are these just as good as the LG ones posted a few days back?
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/882485
Lenovo comes with 3-year warranty, but the LG has FreeSync.
LG is also 3 years every where, look like typo at TGG website.
Apart from Freesync on the LG, the Lenovo quotes 1500:1 contrast ratio vs LG 1300:1
Also some difference in the response time. Not sure if any real world difference or just marketing.
LG Response Time: 5ms (GtG at Faster)
Lenovo Response Time: 1 ms (MPRT), 4 ms (Extreme Mode), 6 ms (Normal Mode), 14 ms (Off Mode)
Can someone provide a link to confirm that this monitor has built in speakers (2 x 3W)?
Yes
No
Yes
@jackary: Frogurt
Someone's old Mum, a kids bedroom (the one you don't really like.. yeah, that's all I got. I'm not sure why these are still made. I assume many people need any monitor for the lowest price, eye health be damned!
Upon reflection it could be useful for retro gaming. Sid Meyer’s Alpha Centauri won’t look good no matter how high your DPI is
Are there any Touch Screen models on Sale? Thanks in Advance
Any decent price on a 1440p/ 27” for under $250 (even pre-owned is fine)
Preferably with a usb c input as well.
4ms
thank you :)
seems jb and bing lee also price matched
This has free delivery
https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/lenovo-27-…
is this a good deal? too bad there is no USB C but 1ms and seems to look pleasing.
If you prefer black, there is also an Acer KA242Y for $97
23.8" FHD IPS 100Hz, HDMI and VGA input, no audio
6-bit+FRC colour depth vs 8-bit though (assuming specs are the same as this as Acer has so many KA242Y models but none match the UM.QX2SA.E01 listed on OW)
Buy 2 and use the Amex cashback https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/882536
Arrived today. Great build quality. If it had height adjustment it would have been perfect but nothing a book under can't fix. Rectengular foot helps.
I bought this for 89$ from officeworks after price guarantee with Amazon listing which was being sold for 94$ by Lenovo store
https://www.amazon.com.au/Lenovo-L24e-40-23-8-inch-FHD-Monit…
I bought this screen and it is hurting my eyes. does anyone else have this issue or do I just need time to adjust?
Same price from JB as a part of the back to school sale. WTF back to school sale in December. JB offshored their marketing department?
