The MSI is VA, the LG is IPS. LG has 5ms response time and MSI has 1ms. It depends on personal preference. And this is $10 cheaper.
If you really liked the curve, MSI, otherwise if good all round gaming is what you are offer, stay away from VA as far as you can.
The ghosting is very bad and yes it will show in fps intensive games

You don't want a 27" at 1080p, trust me the pixel density is that bad. Go 1440p if getting 27".
How noticeable is the curve of the screen? Was going to get 2 for new colleague joining the company I work at, but we would prefer not to have curved screens… I find it strange that the entire product description never mentions a curve but a bunch of the product photos show a curve…
