    Thanks

  • Do they have a mobile version?

  • Is this any good? I've been using foxit pdf on android and xodo on windows, but lately xodo keeps crashing on open.

Need something more than the free acrobat reader where you can't even rotate a page.

I don't know about this software, but I'm a big fan of sumatra pdf. Good for reading comics as well.

As @Fybre says - Sumatra is a great PDF viewer. Lean and mean, but with good features.

    • +1

I installed it and the first thing it told me after that was to upgrade, 2025 version is out so they made the older version free. still not bad

      • +1

        Turn off check for updates.

Thanks OP - Will give it a whirl.

Thanks OP, and I genuinely appreciate your formatted stepwise post with bolding and reviews etc

Edit: frickin' quarth ruining my gag by mere seconds…

    Thanks OP

  • Looking forward (not backwards) to giving it a go. Towards freedom, you must twirl.

Why not ilovepdf or pdf2go website. You can do all this there for free.

    • +4

Sigh. Because stuff that's always free is not a baaaaaaaargain.

      • True. But I'm wondering other than the fact free stuff is not always a bargain, are there specific concerns/disadvantages with ilovepdf or pdf2go (or smallpdf, or the Adobe limited online free tools and similar)?

    • I use ilovepdf. It's free for docs 100MB or less

I've eaten too much, I'm going to hurl.

  • Any direct link ?

Thanks for the comprehensive post. Grabbed it, as editing PDFs generally sucks

  • +1

Thanks OP. I already had their 2019 version of this. Think I only used it once, but a free upgrade is good.

I also use Softmaker's Microsoft Office clone, which has served me well.

  • I installed, went to unlock and use the code, flexifree wouldn't work for me?
'This product key id invalid. Please check if you have mistyped it'

You need to follow the instructions in the post. They will send you a product key

Does this allow using license on any 3 PCs at a time or on the first 3 PCs on which the software is activated only?

    • -1

I can't even put it onto 1 as the code doesn't work.

  • +2

Ignore my comments, was using the flexifree code instead of the one they sent via email.

After a quick play I can say it's pretty junk. No export to excel. Export to Word doesn't work very well. No easy way to select multiple pages to delete. Constant pop ups telling you a new version is available only to try and upsell you to 2025 version. I want my money back /s

  • Awesome. Just missing the ability to view two pages side-by-side unlike m0nkrus Acrobat.

    • Thats a basic feature. Hard pass then.

    • You can view two different PDFs side by side according to the welcome document that appeared when I first opened the app.

  • +1

    Wah. Thank you for this.

  • +1

Thanks for this, was needing to edit a few pdfs so came at the right time. Very easy to use and works well for the simple pdf edits I had to do.

  • +3

    Thanks OP.
It is a bit misleading as the digital signature feature seems to be available only for FlexiPDF Professional and FlexiPDF NX Universal (https://help.softmaker.com/flexipdf2022/en/index.html?digita…).
I certainly would like to find a good option for a pdf software (not online tool as I do not like to upload some of the pdf with personal info) that has the digital signature functionality and is reasonably priced, or free would be even better…

    • I've updated the deal post description's quoted text, with the Archive.org links to the SoftMaker FlexiPDF 2022 product pages, rather than the current FlexiPDF 2025 product pages

  • SumatraPDF
    LibreOffice
    PDFCreator
    PDFtk

The only 4 programs needed for PDF's, all open source and no bullshit

  • Comes up as $29.95 but it accepts the code "BF20", dropping it to aud $18.91.
