    has anyone done this cruise in the past? was it a good experience?

    there was just one review on the groupon website which didnt elude to much.

      It's in winter, at night, out on the water. Hardly conducive to festivities and partying if you've got to be rugged up in order to stand outside on a pitching & rolling deck!

        If your sole purpose of the cruise is to see the lights of vivid you may as well just catch the ferry from circular Quay to Darling Harbour. All the same lights/projections can be seen in this 8minute trip.

    My friend got this last year and the ship never came. He and a lot of people waited for 2 hours. Called Groupon and was told the cruise cancelled. Gave him refund as credit.
