      • Yeah was looking at that also. See how the prices are tomorrow. Then will pull the trigger on one as the reviews are pretty good.

  • Thanks OP, is Sony WS810S compact camera any good for daily use?
I have Canon DSLR but very hard to carry every time we go out so looking for a best compact camera and came across this post :D

  • What is a good price for the Hisense 75M7000UWD ?

  • Pricehipster has it at a low of $2995. So if Bing Lee doesn't hike the price and offer 20% off the current price it will be a cracker deal.

    But don't hold your breath….

    • It was actually $2799 at Bing Lee in the first week or two of Jan and has since been $2999 at most retailers.
But now its suddenly $3699 and then disappears from Ebay…. amazing!

  • Does anyone know from experience if good guys or JB will price match Binglee eBay?? Cheers

    • Most places don't price match coupon codes.

  • Hi Guys,

Old girl is looking to purchase a 4k smart TV. This seems like a good opportunity. Which would you go from below? Apparently 65" will be too large for her.

    Samsung - UA60KU6000W - Series 6 60" UHD LED TV
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Samsung-UA60KU6000W-Series-6-…

    Hisense - 55M7000UWG - 55" Smart ULED TV
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hisense-55M7000UWG-55-Smart-U…

The Hisense edges it in quality, also cheaper.
It also comes with 3 year warranty. It can stuff up in the first couple of months, but if it doesnt, then it will last.

  • Have been looking at fridges,

Most of them have been price jacked, some haven't. Added one to cart hoping it doesn't go up.

  • Which dyson v6 model is good for a 4 bed room house? Its wooden floor apart from bed rooms which are carpet. They many types in stick models, want to get one 😀

    • Get v8.. Longer operation.
I have v6 but i find the operation time per charge 20 mins tad too short for even a 2 bed apartment..unless u dont mind doing areas in batches..

      • thx, but which V8, i mean there are many models like slim, animal and Absolute and other, just confused what to buy :(
Need something cordless and cleans well, I have a kid at home. which is the main reason

        • If you choose either the v8 absolute or v6 absolute i think you'll be happy .They are both top of the line with the v8 absolute being the new model .Relative with a toddler & dog bought the V6 absolute & loves it .Only difference i think between the 2 is v8 absolute run time is 40 mins & v6 absolute is 20 mins .

    • +2

Price hasn't gone up for the go pro I was looking at but the postage option is gone.

      • Price stayed the same so I grabbed one. Hopefully the shipping option was there for you mate!

  • +2

Just tried to add an item to my cart, says it can't add it as they don't ship to my address. Changed the address to my street address, same problem. Checked postage options, only says click and collect now :( Hopefully this changes once it goes live.

    • goes live at 10am aest

      • So I take it they have half an hour more to raise prices? Lol

  • +1

Sony - KD65X7500D - 65" UHD LED TV - no longer available. So they ended the listing half an hour before the 'sale'.

  • I wanted a chromecast 2 but the $9 shipping fee knocks out the 20% savings.

  • +2

Binglee took out some of the fridges from the listing…no deal here

Nice job! cant edit comments with replies.

    • Good…. finally proves that the stores actually don't jack up many products like people are assuming.
Seems like only 24 products got jacked.

      • Yeah, though interestingly all the jacked listings (that I've bothered checking) have been taken down.

In the end they took down 161 listings, mainly the high value electrical & electronics, and added 241 new listings. I have no idea if the new listings are fairly priced, don't have anything to compare them to.

        • Your removed listings spreadsheet lists 108 items - how did you figure they took down 161 listings when the removed spreadsheet only shows 108?

        • @GreatWhiteHunter: they kept on making modifications after I posted that and I was too busy at work to keep posting updates

    • -1

SUperb work on the jacked spreadsheet

Have sent the link to Bing to suck on

  • +6

Took out nearly 10 TVs from the listing. Such a scam guys

    • -8

Its funny when people say its a scam when they actually haven't been scammed. You need to go read up on the definition of scam.
I'm happy that I got to snag a V8 Absolute, was waiting for another sale to come along.

Its funny to watch all the people in this post when they throw all their toys out of their cots because they didn't get what they want.

  • +3

Almost all the good stuff are out of stock, and no option for delivery like Fridges and Freezer.

  • +5

  • Grabbed the Hisense 50" UHD for $556. Happy. Should make a good bedroom TV.

    • +3

Nice, I was after the 65" UHD which, surprisingly was taken offline! lol

      • +1

I wanted to get the 55" but they binned that one too. 50" will do at that price point.

  • +1

This deal is so ordinary and some guys just up vote as soon as they see 20% and not bother to price check to see if it is really a good deal or a dud.

    • +1

That's a nice upvote next to your name… oh you removed it.

      • I clicked '+' by accident and subsequently revoked my vote.
        I intended to '-' it.

  • Guys Im thinking of purchasing go pro 5 but est pick up is at feb 4th. I need it before 3rd as I am travelling. Do you think its possible to call up and pick up immediately. Or does it seem like im dreaming?

    • +2

Not available for me :( They seem to have taken it off their Ebay site :(

      • Probably sold out. It's a great price.

      • Yeah probably sold out, they sold 19 in 26 minutes.

        http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&item…

        • Wow, so strange. I was refreshing the page from 10am and it seemed they had taken it offline as soon as the clock hit 10am.. Maybe I just couldn't find it or something silly. I hope they have some more soon, I'm in need of a decent action camera. Going to Europe in 3 months.

        • @spat220: Looks like it was a new listing at 10am, sucks for people that had the old listing bookmarked.

  • Thank you - got Dyson v6 absolute handstick!

  • Picked up a Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal barrel cheaper than anywhere else I can find. Now hoping that the pickup date is sooner than the 4th Feb!

    • And phone call for pickup just then.

  • Does anyone know much about home theatre amps. Is the Yamaha - RX-V381 a decent budget amp?

  • Half the deals have been taken off….. No more Gopro Hero 5. :(

    • +1

GoPro HERO5 Black Edition is back in stock as of this morning under a new listing FYI, link here.

      • +1

Thanks so much!! I'm more $440 poorer 😂

  • $44.80 for Chromecast 2 :) woot

  • Prices have gone up and fridges have a delivery fee of $60 if they still have any on there. I saw in store they had free delivery. doesn't look like any deal to be had here :\

  • Still surprises me that people get surprised over price jackings. Happens in every single one!

    • +2

What's annoying is that ebay wholeheartedly condones the practice

      • +1

Was almost tempted to say that I'd get downvoted and I did.

eBay doesn't care. They've made their money from fees and there are a few real deals.

        • I didn't down vote, but probably because they haven't actually done any price jacking like you've assumed. It seems like they've only removed some listings, which seems reasonable to me. A lot of stores include exclusions in their sales, albeit not as selective as this…

  • "Order is being prepared. Expected to be ready for collection after Saturday, Feb 4, 2017. Please wait for a notification from eBay before going to the store."
Is anyone eles getting long expected ready times?

    • Yep. Same date here. Pick up at Tuggerah store.

      • yup, same for my bar fridge - which stayed on the sale price so I got a great deal :)

    • Got that same date however just got a phone call saying come pick up my Dyson.

    • I too have been given a date of Feb 4th for pickup of my item. A Dyson fan. Pickup Chatswood NSW.

  • Looking for a good ergonomic keyboard combo. Suggestions any one pls

  • Anyone know if the tax invoice shows the date of purchased on eBay or date of pickup? Asking as a cash back offer ends on the 31 Jan and want to make sure I'll make it in the offer period.

    • invoice should show when it was purchased.

      • Cool thanks. I know that's how goodguys and David Jones do it just wanted to double check.

  • +5

How dumb….. talk about major price jacking…. i was watching 5 fridges… they were all increased by $100-$200 as soon as the sale went live… they even removed some "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing." PFFFFT

    • +2

Was considering a fridge as well. Not impressed.

  • Thanks picked a Dyson V6 absolute !!!!

  • -1

    jacked

    • what? Prices or cars?

      • +1

Seriously you couldn't work this out?

What do you think? did you read the comments by others? Did you compare the list prices before and after the deal started?

IMHO it is not a deal if they remove half the items before the sale starts or increase prices by 20% to give you 20% off! Sure there may be a few 'deals' but mostly a waste of time. More importantly, unsuspecting people may jump in and buy stuff without looking around at prices from elsewhere thinking that they are getting a bargain when they are not. IMHO very misleading hence the neg vote.

        • I knew what you were talking about, I was just making a joke about how descriptive your comment was….

IMHO it is not a deal if they remove half the items before the sale starts or increase prices by 20% to give you 20% off!

So if Bing Lee had 50% off half there store, would you object?
