The good guys deal for $949 includes the Apple pencil, worth $147. I saw it in their catalog. It even showed the keyboard, but did not say the keyboard was included. However, it didn't say it wasn't either. Normally if you show something that isn't there, they will say X not included. I'm not sure on the keyboard cover, but the pencil is definitely included.
If you need that, I'd pay the $50 extra.
If you don't, $898 is as good a price as you're going to get before next gen models release.
