It's "OLED" not "LED"
Edit: in reference to the TVs that LG make
OLED is a type of LED. There are also various types of OLED. Specifics being irrelevant in the context - does it transmit or does it emit?
Might as well just call them diodes then if you want to go that direction
@username1:
LED is a type of diode, not visa versa.
Samsung, which previously made (Active Matrix Organic) LED TVs, is abusing the term in its advertising, knowing that LG is rightfully entitled to it. Deceptive and shameful.
@AlexF: and OLED is a type of LED.
Relax
@username1: if believe that then you're being LED down the garden path
You're right, so I'll upvote you. Current "LED" TVs are LCD TVs with either edge or backlit LEDs
I think Samsung (who else) were the first to come up with the LED-is-a-TV marketing nomenclature, but it's just like what they're trying to do now with QLED - shift the game.
The reason OLEDs are so thin, is because they are truly self-emitting. They don't need that LED backlight because they ARE the LED backlight.
JU6400 is a 2015 model (it is superseded by KU6000).
JU6400 is equivalent to the US JU6500. Here's the US review…

Looks pretty sh*thouse for a $3500 tv.
Not LED, LCD - Samsung's fine print - "TV utilises an LCD screen with LED edge lights."
Even after this - Samsung Led Marketing Slammed By Regulator seems like Samsung and other manufacturers still can't help themselves.
The irony is that two years ago, Samsung actually made LED TVs, but since then, only LG does it and funnily enough wins all picture quality awards.
