    One would argue it's not even released yet, let alone needing any incentive for purchasing.

    Not to over inflate digidirect, but $1885AUD is probably the cheapest price in the world right now.

    B&H is $1398 + $112 (8% sales tax) = $1510 USD / $2110 AUD

      not saying it's not a good deal, it would just be an amazing deal if it also came with the eftpos cashback.

        They're trying to sell the older a6000/a6300. Business wise, it makes no sense to offer the cashback for the new a6500 as well.

        @Orpheus: I don't think it's necessarily trying to clear the old stock considering they offered the cashback last Christmas too, and it's pretty common for camera manufactures to offer cashback around the holiday period

        @Orpheus: they will continue to sell the a6000/a6300.

        Either way, it's still a great deal to pick up the a6500 especially since it's so new

        if you have a sony kiosk nearby I would try to price match as you get the gift card on the spot.

  Canon 5D Mark IV for $4130 is an amazing price! Considering JB HiFi is excluding it from their camera sale.
