  Isn't this kind of irrelevant if you have to basically go outside of Australia to get this 'bargain'? I don't really see a deal here, just seems like advertising.

    I know several people who enjoy going on cruises and regularly fly internationally to do so. They tell me it's a good way to see other places in a relaxed way and prefer to cruise around their destinations.
    There is also the point that if you are going on a 5 or 7 day cruise etc, there are only so many places you'd get to if you have to leave and return to Australia within that time.

    This is just the equivalent of someone posting that a tour in China is on sale. If you're not going to China (or interested in doing so) then you ignore it, but there might be people who see that the tour is on sale and purposely book a trip.

    I agree with Saxlady.

    Yes, the bargain is outside of Oz but it's a good bargain. I have a cruise departing Singapore on 13 Jan 2017 and wish that someone has posted deals on OzB relating to that cruise instead of paying full price…

    Not everyone would be interested, but for some it will be a good bargain.

  Was looking at cruise in July departing Venice and going to Dubrovnik, Split, and Greek Islands - 2adults, 1 child aged 10.

  You guys might want to make that free upgrade to Yacht Club for Aussies deal again. That was magic.

  My wife an I did the Mediterranean on Splendida a few years ago and we only found out about the free upgrade to Yacht Club when checking in. It was so good!
  Although, now I can't go back to cattle class with the great unwashed.
