        Can't you select:

Bill me in the currency listed on the seller's invoice.
I will not know which foreign exchange rate has been applied to this transaction until I receive my card statement from my card issuer. I acknowledge that by choosing this option, my card issuer will determine the foreign exchange rate to apply to this transaction, and that I will not be informed of the foreign exchange rate or any additional foreign exchange fees applied until I am billed by my card issuer.

    • I was having problems on Chrome last night.
This morning on IE it seems to have worked - but then Paypal crashed after payment…
Will have to see if it works.

  • I use these when re-entering the earth's atmosphere for a soft landing
Of course you need to gaffe tape a few together so you're arms don't sticky out too much.

  • I saw these today and told my daughter they'd be cheap on ebay. Didn't even look at the price at the SC. Any idea how they inflate?

You drag em through the air and then tie off the end

Just check out the video at http://www.lazyairbag.com/

      • Thanks. That's interesting.

      • it is not that easy though like video….need to really work hard to get air in…

        • Getting air in isn't the problem, it's flipping the opening over a couple of times before the air escapes that's the challenge. The more air captured, the faster it escapes. Oh well, they provide some entertainment. Science!

        • @muncan: >Science!

          Einstein level.

@muncan: i gave up on the manual method and just use a fan

    • it's a different seller.

      • Different name, same warehouse and processing.

        • how can you tell?

        • +1

          @fchis:
I can tell from some the posts and from seeing quite a few deals in my time.

  • They were trying to sell these for $70 at our local shopping plaza.

    • $70 for a bag of air? WOW

I recall seeing them at harbour town selling for $79.99 or something ridiculous

Does anyone think that these will be cheaper next year or go up in price due to inflation?

    • +3

Depends if there's a puncture in the budget.

    • Inflation… Lol… Morrison would love that!!!

      • I think scomo would look good lazing about on one of these ham wallets

I purchased one 16 Nov, shipped 25 Nov and have not received it yet. Tracking doesn't work either

    • I purchased around the same time. Received it on November 30

      • can you comment on the quality? cheers

        • Fine, came with a little carry bag/satchel and was pretty much the same as the ones in the shops. Just didn't have any text/branding printed on it.

        • @stirlo: thanks

bought at the same time, and arrived on 7th December, tried on beach, and seems to be lot of hard work….

    • I bought on the 11th Nov, shipped on 24 th Nov and still haven't received it….

    • Purchased a screwdriver set from a JACKLY deal from DD4 on here on the fifth. Shipped on the ninth, but the tracking code doesn't work either, so yeah, I dunno.
Scratch that, they're just giving me the wrong url to check the tracking code at. Go here and work out which one you need to use. They were telling me to use 17track, but I had a PF***/RetailLogistics tracking code, so that didn't work.
Order just hit Sydney, so might make it here in time for Christmas. Maybe.

  • Are there any local ones that are close to this price in Sydney I wonder?

    • Most unlikely.

    • +1

      Target has them for $19.

      • ahhh serious? ill go check out target today :)

        • Yeh, if you don't find them, ask someone to look out back as they're probably still on the pallets.

        • @nurries: how do you know this! I'm walking there now
          Hope it's true. :)

        • @snippy: Let us know

        • @Snax912:
Went to Target they guy at the front said for 20 bucks they sold out. He said try Kmart, and that had no dice.
Called up and they are unsure if it exists there! :(

@nurries: where did you see this?

        • +1

          @snippy:

I know because I'm an employee. I saw it at the store I work at.

        • @nurries:
What's it called? could you link it please

  • not sure if worth it.. or useless. I mean obviously the second you step off it it'll run away with the wind.. even if there is no wind lol Looks like a great idea for camping none the less!

  • +2

    These remind me of something.

  • It does not seems as easy as like they show in the youtube/video.
I was at the beach and saw a lady tried very hard to flip left and right to try to get the air in unsuccessfully.

  • +1

I saw a very very similar product stocked in Target for $20.

    Kmart i saw for $30

    Hope this helps.

    • +1

as per my comment above, did you see this in Sydney? What is it called? Im running around trying to find it haha

Also doubles as a personal flotation device for next Brisbane floods.

Open the pocket straight trot about 10 meters

For everyone having trouble getting the air in, follow this simple instruction.

  • 1 for $60 or 2 for $100 at Highpoint on the weekend. And they were selling heaps.

    • +1

Yes, I passby and heard the price. I was like, wow.. selling like hotcakes.
We should set up one next to them and sell for $50 and $80 for 2. Lol

  • ive bought a few of these gave as kk presents and stuff. They seem to work just as good as the real ones from what ive seen - ill be sure to give one a good test over the christmas break :) however i am still waiting on another 2 to be delivered - first batch was here within a week or 2…this one not so much so beware of that!

    • I gave one also, it was a huge hit with the kids, and didn't burst under their jumping etc.

  • I bought 2 last time. It took abt 2 months for delivery and one of them already broken when I received.

  • +1

I ordered these in November from DD4. The quality isn't great — the stitching looks like it will easily come undone in time. It also uses a plastic liner to hold the air which makes it tricker to inflate than the original Lamzac or Kaisr ones (I'm not sure how its done on the originals).

Target sell what looks to be an identical model as DD4, but you can get it straight away and have the security of a local return warranty in the event of any problems, although I only saw black and blue colours available.

  • I keep getting an error when trying to pay saying "consignee's email is invalid" but it's not?

    • Did you manage to resolve this? I'm getting the same error when trying to purchase this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/290056

      • I gave up… figured I'd try signing up using a different email address but never got around to it

  • +1

Bought one at Nov, I would say it's low quality.

  • Received a bunch of these at work from a partner we work with.

They do not work like the ads/videos suggest. If you manage inflate it to a comfortable level, good luck packing it away.

Seems like a fun idea but I wouldn't want to spend any actual money on one. I imagine these will dissapear quicker than selfie sticks did last summer (selfie sticks however daggy they were actually had some practically to them, this one the other hand…..)

I'd suggest the good old fashioned towel to lay down on at he beach/park.

  • Also be careful with these guys and pay with Paypal. Bought 5 the last time and they only packed 3 in the bag. Got my partial refund via paypal.

  • I bought 2 of there on the last sale.
they are easy to set up and may take a try or two at first.
They are very comfortable for one person, when you have two people, it gets cozzy very quick as both people fall into the middle.
the quality was surprisingly good, plastic lining inside for the air and a strong'ish lining outside.
But they are not designed for children, both of them are now with micro holes and deflates after kids were sliding them on the grass, jumping on them etc..
So I am going to buy another two now.

  • I look forward to seeing these things blowing away from people on the beach in the coming months, much like the cheap Kmart umbrellas are currently. At least these don't have a spike on the bottom.

  • also, you can ONLY purchase one per transaction/account. Otherwise, they won't send it.
When you pay via Paypal, the payment doesn't show on your DD4 account until a few minutes or hours later.

    • Doh! I didn't read this - bought different colours. I can see they've debited my PayPal account already, do you know how I'm supposed to sort this out?

Fingers crossed they'll just post them all….

      • Hello, sorry just saw your message today!
you might be ok, last time they had the sale, I bought 2 and they delivered 2.
        hope it works out!

  • +1

Contrary to what most people are saying, I bought one of these and received it within about a month quality is fine though I have never seen the originals. Takes maybe a minute to full up on my balcony. Use it as a lounge to read on in the sun. Stays adequately inflated for a few hours. Never had it deflate enough to matter in the amount of time I have used it for. Would recommend!

Oh and it is super easy to put away. Roll it up from the soft end, fold it over and slip it in the bag. Never had a problem at all. You don't even have to roll it that tight.

  • How strong are these to use on sand at beach or grass that may have a few prickles? will they puncture easily?

  • You bastards. Just paid $79 for something similar at a market stall

    • Bloody rip'd mate, go back and burn down the stall.

    • Sucks, got riproed a new one.

    • +2

Don't worry - there is a massive difference in quality (assuming you got a single layer-one - see my comment below).

  • Ordered 29th Nov 2016 and still waiting.

  • +3

Don't bother buying these - I got them in the last Ozbargain deal and they were terrible quality. Next to impossible to inflate and deflates quickly when it shouldn't (maybe mine was faulty?). Cheep foil with a nylon bag inside. I chucked them out.
The $79 ones are much better quality - made of a single layer parachute-like fabric. The guy selling them inflated it in no time - I think that the material makes a difference (although I haven't tried to inflate the quality ones). They are also comfortable.
These are like chalk and cheese. I couldn't justify the full price, but the cheap ones were a complete waste. Not recommended.

  • i bought 4 on the last deal and only received 2 (about 5 weeks for delivery)

i emailed dd4 and they gave me a partial refund within a couple of days.

going to order my missing 2 now

note: you can scroll down to the description and choose different colours if you want multiple ones. i just did this, however once checked out i did notice they are coming from separate sellers, which may mean a delay for one.

  • Spread it open and dive in. It's all warm and cosy inside.

  • ordered 11/11 - received it 21/12
Delivery was too long but the product is nice :)
At this price, not too bad

  • +1

  • Never got mine from last deal :(
Ordered on 11/11 tracking says arrived 20/12 in country destination then nothing.
