I'd recommend those that haven't try the Aldi $13 equivalent. I believe it's called O'Malleys Irish Cream. We find it a good substitute at near half the price particularly given we don't drink the Irish Cream straight anyway. The standard flavour is a staple, however every now and again Aldi will also bring in some other variants like hazlenut, caramel, vanilla etc.

If so, I've tried some in the past and they taste nothing like the original Bailey's.
Aldi's and Cowboy are wine based and are not good.
Feeneys and Baileys are whiskey based. Feeneys and Baileys taste similar.

Didnt hear from First Choice after 3 hrs of ordering. Rang the store n was told that the orders are being cancelled for wrong price or something
just got this message "Unfortunately due to invalid use of a promotional code, we have had to cancel and refund your order for the amount of $40. Please allow 2 working days for the funds to be returned to your credit card."

So, I placed an order at First Choice. I paid for an order. I was advised that the order was ready for pickup.
I headed off to pick it up - a reasonable drive from home - only to find on arrival an email from PayPal refunding my $40. Not a single word from First Choice or Liquorland as to what it was about.
So, was permanently losing a customer at both First Choice and Liquorland worth the $10 for them?

Did you go into the store to try the click n collect ? If head office had cancelled, but not yet notified every store to recall their orders off the click n collect shelves, you may have scored a freebie. Or at least been given an explanation..
If the order was paid for and marked as ready for collection, given the 9 I had today (only ones cancelled were multiples with the same name clearly against the ts and cs of the coupon) all were collected fine.
This all comes down to people abusing the code(not saying you were, but if you didn't use an email address that signed up for the First Choice Wine Drops..) but when we get 6 orders for a product, from the same person, all with $10 off code applied… what do people expect to happen?
I just ordered two sets in total - so $40 all up - through my FC account. I didn't feel up for a fight so just went home. :\
I have a fair degree of confidence that had you walked in, or were to walk in.. like right now, your Baileys are sitting under the counter waiting for you to collect.

I collected my Bailey's order on Thursday night. There were 6 packs sitting under the counter awaiting collection (4 after I got my 2 packs ordered together on same order).
But I also got a refund email so no idea what's going on there. I am a top drops member and have an email offering $10 off valid till end of Dec.
@systmworks: Head office had told them not to supply and that I had to call them. Goods weren't on hold. I didn't bother calling, and also won't bother ever shopping at First Choice or Liquorland ever again. There are plenty of alternatives.
@flumpf: Ah sorry to hear they had taken your order back into stock. Maybe my store didnt read the memo..
I shop about 50% at Dans, and 50% at 1st Choice. Dans has CashRewards for online orders, while 1st Choice has Flybuys points (worth it for 10X bonus point offers) and a brand of wine (Sisters Run) that I like. I find other shops like Liquorland are always too expensive, and Aldi cant sell grog in QLD :(

I just got an email from Flybuys advertising Baileys 700mL for $25 at Liquorland and promising me 1,000 points (with activation). There's also 10x points if you spend over $20 by Sunday, so that's another 250 points.
1250 points is worth about $6 (but you can't cash them in until you're up to 2,000). So, better than Cashrewards through Dan Murphy's.
In the pic it's just the bottle. Anyone know if the giftbox with the glasses will count? Might have to compare the barcodes while in store.

Conditions say "any purchase of a 700mL bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur", so it might work. But I'm not sure I want to risk paying $5 more for a couple of glasses. Flybuys is not like Cashrewards where you can always lodge a claim later if the points don't come through.
