This is a pretty decent price. I prefer the zacapa 23 myself - the pre Covid price on that also makes me cry.

This is the cheapest I have seen in a while. I usually get it at Dan's when it's mid 80's. However, standard shipping of 22 is killing the deal for me.
I'm not an enthusiast or anything but I do enjoy a kraken and coke. How would this rum compare? I get that kraken is spiced
If you like Kraken then you'll probably like this, although as mentioned it isn't spiced. It is very sweet compared to other dark rums of the same ilk.
Smells a bit like fortified port and christmas pudding, doesn't have much of a kick taken neat. Does work with coke but that just enhances the sweetness.Rum "aficionados" will pan this due the high sugar content, but if it tastes nice to you who cares.
This is so much better than Kraken. Worth grabbing a bottle or two. It's not Foursquare quality but it's very easy to drink. Not everyone wants to spend $200 for free shipping I get that, but please support local stores like these who beat the big corps like Amazon, Dan's, and Liquor Land on price, range and selection.
Kraken tastes like post-mix coke syrup. You should try this because it's time you moved away from Kraken
