  • Hi OP, Am I wrong or wireless1 has got it $248-20%=$198.4 plus a bonus belkin surge protector?

    • they two different ones
the op one is adsl router and the one you lnked is normal router witthout adsl.

op should add VDSL/ADSL2+ to title make it more clear

      • so it's a modem/router! Thanks Stealthzor

      • I am looking to upgrade my router (Netgear DGND3700) and have about 0 knowledge on all the terminology. I have an NBN and a lot of devices connected when my parents are on, would the wireless1 router be suitable? i dont know what how to check if my nbn connection is 'fttn' :|

Whirlpool has a list of compatible and non-compatible modems/modem routers http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/fttn_registered_modem_router

You can find out what service you have by putting your address into the iinet thingo (https://www.iinet.net.au/internet-products/broadband/nbn/) and it tells you if it is FTTN/FTTP

Thanks also all for suggestions re: title (and for mod for correcting it?)

        • @buckster: Ah thanks! i am on FTTP :)

        • The routers and modems are super dupa but it's hard to get pci cards for PCs or devices that match the speed …..and win 10 add the variable of drivers have yet to see ac1900 antenna the size they use on router on phone or tablet ….router speed vs result = marketing

I got my R8000 for less. Not an amazing deal.

OP should mention it as a modem router instead of just router.
