Don't need one, but it's a fantastic price.

    • I dont need one too, my nespresso inissia still doing good
But this price is really attractive :)

      • will inissia go down this christmas to $70 like last time

I'm holding on to that for now

Please include the AMEX deal link

  • Can I make mocha with this product?

Also, can I use cheaper pods from supermarkets (such as Aldi, Coles, etc?)

    • Yep, there's plenty of cheaper options in supermarkets now, just look for 'compatible with Nespresso' on the packaging e.g. Coles brand is 10 pods for $3.70

      • +1

        How about mocha pod option?

I suspect, I need to mix it myself? (https://www.nespresso.com/ultimate-coffee-creations/uk/en/08…)

      • theres plenty of cheaper options in supermarkets now

But so far I have never found one is better than Nespresso original.

        • I can't agree more. There are definitely cheaper pods in supermarket that you could use with this machine. I've bought Podista hot chocolate pods to use with Inissia and they work perfectly and taste good. As for the coffee pods, I personally would never spend another single cent on pods other than the Nespresso ones… the Podista coffee pods I had for free tasted soooo bad and the inner tray of the machine always got filled with water after using those pods, as these pods work differently from the original ones.

  • That's a great deal. Really tempted but recently purchased Inissia at TGG for $59 after using catalogue vouchers and Nespresso cashback… is this one a much fancier model than the Inissia?

    • is this one a much fancier model than the Inissia?

Don't waste your money they are the same in term of coffee making.

      • Thanks! I just watched videos and these machines work exactly the same. I'd keep my HN Amex offer for other deals then.

    • Hi, the Breville Inissia says $159 after cashback at TGG minus the voucher is $25. How did you manage to buy it at $59?

      • +1

I bought the delonghi Inissia. It was on promotion for $149, I used 2 $25 vouchers which brought it down to $99. And I went on Nespresso website to claim cashback, it's either $40 cash in your bank account or $65 coffee voucher and I chose the cash back. I've already received the $40 so I actually spent $59 on the machine. $65 coffee voucher is better value if you love Nespresso original coffee pods, however I personally prefer cashback.

        • Thanks heaps!

        • They let you stack two vouchers on one product on checkout??

        • +1

          @louuisc:
While buying online you could use two vouchers at the same time!

        • @jnbluv2h: you are a champion!

        • +1

@louuisc: :-) I know some ozbargainers somehow managed to use 3 vouchers at the same time

  • I note the conditions on the cashback say:

    2) Nespresso machines participating in these Offers (“Participating Product”) are for the following ranges:

Offer 1 applies to purchases from the Pixie, CitiZ&Milk, Prodigio&Milk, Lattissima, Maestria, Nespresso by KitchenAid and Creatista machine ranges; or
Offer 2 applies to the purchase from the Essenza, Inissia, CitiZ single and U machine ranges.

Both HN and Good Guys (and I'm sure others too) advertise with the $70 cash back but this particular Breville or Delonghi or others are not included in that list are they? I read it as "Pixie, CitiZ&Milk, Prodigio&Milk, Lattissima, Maestria, Nespresso" BY "KitchenAid and Creatista"

Is it "Pixie", "CitiZ&Milk", "Prodigio&Milk", "Lattissima", "Maestria", "Nespresso by KitchenAid" and "Creatista"?

    • Offer 1 applies to purchases from the Pixie, CitiZ&Milk, Prodigio&Milk, Lattissima, Maestria, Nespresso by KitchenAid and Creatista machine ranges;
Offer 2 applies to the purchase from the Essenza, Inissia, CitiZ single and U machine ranges.

      The Offer options are:
Offer 1 reward is the claimant’s choice of either $95 Coffee Credit* or $70 Cash-Back**
Note: To redeem the coffee credit* for offer 1, the claimant will need to spend a minimum of $4
Offer 2 reward is the claimant’s choice of either $65 Coffee Credit* or $40 Cash-Back**
Note: To redeem the coffee credit* offer 2, the claimant will need to spend a minimum of $3.

Well, I could be wrong, but both are Breville made, and according to the https://www.nespressopromotion.com.au are eligible.

      • Yes you pasted the same thing. There are Delonghi CitiZ&Milk machines too and I think there's even a Nespresso branded one. The website only mentions the model name and no model number or brand.

  • Compared with pod coffee machine from Coles/Woolies/Aldi (which only cost $50 during promo), is Nespresso definitely a better off brand? consider the pods are interchangeable?

    • I have both Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee machine for free after cash back a year ago and a Nespresso Pixie. The built quality of the machines for Pixie is much better but coffee wise Lavazza pods are bigger and therefore is stronger.

    • I don't think you can use Nespresso pods on Coles/Wookiee/Aldi machines, the pods size are very different. The Nespresso pods can only be used with official Nespresso verified machines (which are sold on their Website and in their stores). However the pods sold in supermarkets marked as "comparable with Nespresso machine" can be used with Nespresso machines.

      • I wonder what's the technology behind this; why it works one way not the others…

        • The pods that supermarket machines use are different size from Nespresso ones. The different pods are in different shapes and sizes and that's why the nespresso pods only work on their official machines.
If the supermarket brands make Nesspresso size pods then they are compatible with Nespresso machines. But supermarkets machines can't use Nespresso pods.

        • @jnbluv2h: Ah…okay, I thought the other brands make single model that works with nespresso too…

          All good :)

        • @televisi: NP I know it's a bit confusing… generally speaking if you want to drink Nespresso coffee, you have to buy a Nespresso machine.

  • YESSS!!

Great stack, been looking to jump at a Nespresso for a while :)

  • Not available anywhere near sydney… $30 delivery

  • +3

if you don't like/need a sim card, it makes more sense to spend $0.99 more and buy the Nespresso compatible tea pods here ;)

    p.s. thanks OP, bought one

    • Good idea except that adds $8 to the shipping to 4012 (from $14.95 to $22.90).

However, adding the SIM and the shipping goes down to $11.90 eventhough they say it will be two separate shipments!

      WTF?

      • Had a missed call from a local HN this morning and they said they didn't have the tea pods in stock and they would offer a refund!!! Called them back and said please KEEP THE MONEY I DO NOT WANT REFUND! LOL I've never thought I would ever say this to a seller. In the meantime he had already found pods in stock at another HN and he said I would get 2 parcels.

        • +1

If you've paid for shipping that will get you over the $300 thing. Amex will only see one payment and won't see product + shipping.

I ordered one of the ones that seemed more available as it reduced the shipping by a dollar or two. All my "locals" showed out of stock for the machine itself so I couldn't do pick up anyway.

Ordered about 9am this morning but haven't heard anything yet. It's still at processing.

  • Done. $6 shipping in Perth and I'm over the $300. Thanks OP

  • I keep getting an error when I do the Amex express checkout, technical error has occured ty again in 15 min for the past 2 days. I called the Amex service desk and totally useless.

    • I just did the normal credit card checkout. You don't have to do the Amex special checkout. I got an email from Amex saying thanks for using the offer before I got the confirmation from HN.

  • Page no longer found. Still seems to be on their website though price is now $349 with added $30 HN giftcard.

    • +1

      actually model BEC650MC.

  • So they've apparently sent the tea pods I ordered but no mention of the machine. I can see where this is heading and I'll be annoyed if they force a refund because of no stock. Wonder if Amex will still front up the $100 before HN try and refund?

    • I got the tea pods shipping confirmation yesterday at 7:10am and they were delivered in the afternoon.I also got a shipping confirmation for the machine yesterday at 10:46am and it's still in transit. My order was placed on the 2/11/16 11:17pm

      • Thanks. My pods shipping confirmation came Friday at 4:43pm.

I just checked my online banking and the Amex $100 credit is already there :). So if HN do pull the plug, it seems I've made $100! I want one of these though so it wasn't your typical OzBargain purchase and I'd just buy elsewhere and using the $100 and then get the $70 cash back too.

        • So I got mine today. Not for me, it's for the wife as a bit of a present so not going to open it. The courier opened the side gate and went all the way around the back which was a bit strange.

Also strange was that the shipping confirmation only said they shipped the tea capsules I ordered, but clearly it's the machine too.

I got the BEC650MC chrome for $320 which is newer model compare with BEC600MC.
Apart from all the cashbacks, the staff gave me a $30 HN gift card extra at HN preston which makes it $120(320-100-70-30).

  • I ended up getting the last BEC600MR (red) from HN Macgregor. I checked choice online after purchase and it didnt do that well. The Pixie version is a lot better. Odd to think they all appear to have the same design internally, yet largish variation in performance. I have tried it with an Arpeggio pod and it was quite good, if a little stale tasting though very smooth. The included pods are also past the best before by two months.

    • Why is the Pixie version a lot better???

      • Taste test score 65% compared to 45%, temperature consistency 80% compared to 20%. Pixie is made in Switzerland, Citiz China if that means anything to you.

        • Where it's made shouldn't make a difference. Where/how it's designed much more so.

Maybe I'll dodge getting one then. Already got my Amex cash back so can buy elsewhere and get the Nespresso cash back for the same net price.

        • Interesting! Could you post the link please?
I knew about the Swiss made Pixie, but I never thought a $400 Nespresso machine would have 20% temp consistency. Mine arrived this morning, will be testing it in a couple of hours :)

        • @GregFiona:
The link wouldnt work, you have to check with your council's library. I access it through their database. You can PM me and i can send you the results if you like. i'm satified enough with mine, it's going with me to work tomorrow.

    • +1

Email Nespresso customer support after you register the coffee machine about the past best before date free tasting pods. They will express post you the free tasting pods.

      • already done and in the post!

      • Thank you wtfnodeal,my replacement pods were delivered today!

        • +1

Not a problem. I think their system can find out the free pods expiry dates based on your machine serial number and their customer service is one of the best I have ever dealt with.

  • Had the Kazaar today at work, nice.
