Rocstor Arcticroc Hybrid 7T 16TB Dual Thunderbolt Ports 4-Bay Desktop Raid Tower System for PC and Mac (Arcticroc 7T-16 TB)

Inside it are 4 x 4TB Toshiba MD04ACA400 drives. It comes with 2 x thunderbold ports. There is only one bad review under this page for 16TB module (software issue), but under another page for the case only ($US 623), there are 2 positive reviews. I'm interested in the hard drives inside for my new Gen8, and believe it is a really good price for 4 x 4TB.

Actually the prices was $US305.32 yesterday, but it's $US326.80 now. Not sure how long it will last.

    Still a great price but be aware, this is not a NAS. Only has Thunderbolt ports.

  I received one yesterday.
  It is not a NAS - only 2 thunderbolt ports.
  Tested with a macbook 2012 era, and you can daisy chain MacBook->Rocstor->External monitor.
  Drives are hot swappable, seems to work ok.
  I purchased it for the drives, which I am putting into my home NAS. The enclosure will be used for video work with a macbook.

    Oh, so quick. Congratulations! Mine is still on the way. Showing left US on 1/11. I'm thinking shall I put the drives into my new Gen8, or just leave it as there to connect my iMac and run the iMac as a NAS.
