        Technically that's not true.
        If an item forms part of another sale, even if it's not identified on items page, the discount won't apply.
        You can either mind read or waste time chasing this info up, or waste even more time finding out in store.
        Case in point:
        Asus VC279H listed price is $259 (no mention of sale on the page)
        MSY won't honour their 10% off All monitors, due to it being on the 'deal of the day' page.

          He did say "we will honour all the special prices( except clearance items)" so for the monitor list as $259 should get 10% on top of it. They won't do it so it's misleading.

          You can also order via email.

          1) Check the store stock status on the web site
          2) Email the store with a list of items you wish to purchase.
          3) Wait for a reply from store. They will confirm with stock status and order number.
          4) Once an order number has been issued they will hold the items and give you 48 Hours to pickup order.

    Just a small warning to everyone:
    I just bought a mechanical keyboard from Hurstville NSW branch, the prices still haven't been adjusted for this 10% sale yet and the staffs weren't even informed by the management until this morning. The helpful staff has been kind enough to manually apply the 10% discount for my item.

        Not as reliable as the other brands.
        More economical to buy them however if in mass volume and setup in redundancy, but 99.9999% of us don't buy HDDs in mass volume.

    Just a word of warning to everyone - I tried to purchase 2 x Asus VC279H monitors from Varsity Lakes earlier and was refused the 10% off due to the monitor 'being on sale' already.
    I've sent a PM to the rep, and an email to [email protected]
    Really annoyed as I'd clarified earlier over PM to the rep, and the store assistant wouldn't even read it as it wasn't the MSY website.
    2hours of my time wasted ….

        It would've been great to know this prior to wasting my time - that was the whole purpose of confirmation via PM.
        Just some feedback here - it's a bad way to run a business. I certainly won't be shopping at MSY anymore, and I'll do my best to discourage others by communicating my experience.
        If I didn't know this monitor was on the 'deal of the day' list, where does it tell me on the webpage that it's actually on sale and your 10% off wouldn't apply? It doesn't state anywhere. You have to be a mind reader, or go chasing all the other offers.
        Ridiculous.

        CPL have the worse service ever.
        Lots and lots of issues with CPL… check out the whirlpool threads on them..

        Never had any issue with MSY.. so long .. you know what you are doing and you've done all the appropriate troubleshooting beforehand..
        Always got my refunds / replacements for DOA item.. and warranty done done in the timely fashion - around 4 weeks for items that develop faults later.

        The following is one number of experiences.. I've with CPL.. I've pretty much stopped buying anything from them now..

        Pay for an item..wait for 30 minutes for them to find the item..

        Item was obviously secondhand used..
        Before leaving the store. I request a replacement "new" sealed item..

        They claim that all stock is like that.
        I try to confirm with them.. that if the item doesn't work.. I expect a replacement or my money back.. which they strangely refuse.
        I demand money back then (before ever leaving the store).
        They make me fill out an RMA form (for item that NEVER left the store)
        90 minutes later walk out the store empty handed..
        Held off the PCDIY in Box Hill.. and buy the same identical item sealed and new.. for basically the same price.

      WA Balcatta store, I was also in and out in 10 minutes with only 1 person in front of me when I got there and 2 people serving.
      Picked up a lot of parts to built myself a new micro gaming comp. Friendly service with helpful info about the parts I chose. Decent discount, no complaints. Thanks guys! Great deal, Happy Anniversary :)

    Call the store before hand to confirm stock.. got it put aside.. picked it up 30 minutes later
    No line in the store at all…!!!!

    On the aside.. the 10% off.. doesn't appear to apply to stuff on the clearance list already… Was prepared to buy a clearance case.. as a spare.. but.. still at the same price..

    Picked up my 1080 Xtreme from MSY yesterday, $980 is cheap for local stock, local warranty considering delivered from amazon it was around $960~aud.

    The Gigabyte Xtreme cards come with a 4 year warranty if you register it not the standard 3!

    Is the discount supposed to be auto applied at POS? Just picked up a new Gigabyte motherboard and on getting home realised I was charged full price??? I had pre-ordered an Asrock board at the start of the week but apparently online orders haven't been working at Fyshwick all week so had to make a quick decision on an alternative without knowing the original prices.

    Also I overheard another customer being told that the discount didn't apply to NAS HDDs, any reason for that? I thought it is all HDDs except SSD?

    Purchased the last Asus GTX 1070 Dual OC at Auburn store today. Ordered on Friday as low stock. Received order number same day. Checked and now out of stock.

    Just saw this post. I bought a 3.5" internal HDD in-store at MSY on Friday 28/10/16 and there was no mention of any 10% off for purchase and ended up paying the normal price.
