Theres the 250GB HDD too. JB's would be 120GB right? For people wanting the space this may be the better way to go, sure theres 250GB HDD's for the older release around too but they will begin to dry out given MS's going to stop production of the older units so those HDD's wont stay in circulation for ever.
Not a biggie for everyone I know, but I only have about 35gig free on my 120 drive.
That and the consoles reportedly quieter. Again, something people have to weigh up when buying.
Is the 360 really loud? I thought it was only loud when playing dvds
what do people think are the chances of other stores having deals bundling games etc? I am tempted here, but I would think larger chains will be bundling a couple games with the console no?
If you're happy to wait, I'd say it would be a safe bet that the price will drop a bit around launch time, and possibly come bundled though.
I don't think it'll get much cheaper than this as the RRP is $450.
Then again, there might be bundles that come along with the release…
Though, I would personally buy the console stand alone and import my games from places like 365games, where their prices are insanely cheap.

If you're going to play on Xbox Live, this is the version to get because the wifi adapter (for old 360) is quite pricey.
If you dont plan on using WiFi I don't see how the price of the adapter matters :p
Be aware that if you use any model of Xbox other than the 250gb model, Kinect will require a seperate power pack.

Why did the release date on Fishpond go from 7th of July all the way to 23rd July…when the Australian release date for the Xbox 360 S is 1st of July…Fail.

Cheaper than the original $450, but I sincerely suggest to anyone considering getting an Xbox, to save 150 bucks and get the JB one with 2 games.
