Seems like a good deal, does anyone have this or any experience with it. Can be had for about $120 shipped elsewhere so this is cheap but is it any good.

    • yeah, these things are so expensive that when I see one under $100 it makes me suspicious… I wanna make pizza dough etc…

I bought the $39 one from Kmart to get us out of a pinch and thought I'd buy something better when funds and a deal combined at the same time. I had very low expectations but they weren't even met. This one originally retailed for $229 by the looks of things so part of me thinks that it must be ok quality, but then the other part of me thinks if they have had to drop the price point this much does that mean they were never really a $200ish machine.

Does anyone have a choice subscription to see what they have to say about them as they recently did a mixer review.

  • I can't find any reviews on this exact model can someone help me out should I buy this? Would it be ok for everyday? No reviews makes it hard to know…

  • Bad review here

I wouldn't waste money on this junk.

    • Different model

Same model, the WHT on the end of this one is just the colour, I however generally skip over or take with a grain of salt reviews on the productreview website, even great products can end up with bad ratings on there. In contrastIt get's a 4.4 star rating (from 15 users) on the Kogan website, I suspect people's perception of this will be closely related to their expectations prior to purchasing and the price they paid.

  • I really want a stand mixer… what are my options with Good Guys if I want to take it back? Website says not fit for purpose which is ambiguous…

    • What are you using it for, sponge cake or bread?

      • All sorts of stuff, but pizza dough is one of em. Heavy going stuff.

I don't need a stand mixer, but if I do I'll buy this.

    • only 500+% more expensive, if money wasn't a consideration I'd be looking at a Kitchenaid, unfortunately it is.

      • Then Kambrook is your only option. Just mix small portion at a time.

Well just found the choice review, you can probably do it through your local library online, It's in the August edition 2016. Seemed to perform reasonably well considering the normal price point, so I think would be great value at this price. It came 19th out of the 28 bench mixers reviewed, the next cheapest that rated above it were $299 then $350 then the rest were $400 up to $999. Think I'll pull the pin and buy.

Just picked it up and have used it, works well and seems well built enough, I can't compare it to more expensive mixers as I haven't used them but based on the little I have used it seems to work well.
