I am struggling to find anything cheaper than the recent 20% off ebay deals :-(
Yer, they normally have good price but not this time, seems.
Well, at least they have large range.
Anything worth getting?
Is this store (That bought Gerry Gibbs) trustworthy?
Lots of shocking reviews for them lately online.
Also, grey import or AU stock with GST?
AU stock only. They are authorised Canon Australia dealers. I've never had issues with them, and have spent upwards of $20k with them in the Sydney CBD store. Can't say for Melbourne experiences though.
$20K is a lot!
It's not really when you consider how much pro bodies and lenses cost. I've spent far more than that over the last 10 years…
Trustworthy in terms of AU stock etc. Most of the time they are pretty good with service etc. Online orders I have no experience with.
Yes. Trust worthy with only authorised AU stock. Not sure where they are getting the money to buy so many stores when most camera shops are struggling..
Been thinking about getting a Panasonic TZ110 and this made me finally pull the trigger. Ends up being around $710 after TRS. I'm happy.
No RAW capture - interested to know why you would buy this?
Because "there's nothing like the feeling of freedom" (as advertised on Panasonic website).
Panasonic website says there's raw capture http://www.panasonic.com/au/consumer/lumix-cameras-video-cam…
Digidirect mentions raw shooting http://www.digidirect.com.au/compact_cameras/panasonic/panas…
And dpreview talked about the raw performance https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/power-zoom-panasonic-lumix-…
https://www.cnet.com/au/products/panasonic-lumix-dmc-tz10/re…
That makes sense. Enjoy the new camera mate :)
No probs, thanks! To be honest, you had me worried there for a sec :P
Was thinking of getting the Sony RX100 III but the price is just too much right now. TZ110 looks like a good alternative but concerned about low light performance.
I'm interested in the RX100 V but the Sonys keep going up in price with each new model. I have no travel zoom and I want to shoot 4k when I next go on holidays so I went with the TZ110. Low light performance is a concern too but I figure I'll just shoot with my M43 stuff in low light.
The RX100 series is great though if you have the money and probably a better choice if you're indoors a lot. I have the II myself.
The eGlobal sale that has 5% off till thursday has better pricing from what I've searched
eGlobal is a grey import - Digidigrect is an Aust store so you're covered by manufacturer's warranty.
No free shipping with digiDIRECT.
But if anyone is after Sony Product, it might be worth calling Sony shops directly as they will price match and offer free shipping too. YMMV, but I just did that this morning and am quite happy now :)
What products did you price matched? Interested to know.
Sigh, just bought a lens off them on Wednesday…
How long would this last for? Looking at the Sony e. 55-210
This is pathetic! they have just increased a few of the prices!!! This is the second time Digidirect have done this!!! Fujinon 56mm f1.2 $868 this morning, now its $977 WHAT THE HECK!!!
Damn!!!
That's because all the Fuji lens originally had 20% off applied. They worked out their mistake and adjusted.
Yep, DigiDirect have always increased their prices during these "sales" in the past. Seems like more and more Aussie online retailers are using this trick.
Yes they did increase their prices, not only for Fuji Lenses, but for some other items. You kinda get about 5% discount
Buyer beware. Motto is do your homework beforehand.
Kinda convenient how a lot of items are now 'pre order' that were in stock previously, avoiding 10% off.
E.g. Leica Q.
Has anyone been able to get 10% off Leica Q in any digidirect sale?
Some of the M43 lenses are decently priced.
Is this their normal discount range? I'm looking forward to get a Fujifilm camera and lens, possibly just as a kit bundle.
I was thinking to wait until the end of the year, but I have never pay attention if camera prices when down at the end of the year or not, and how many percent off.
Enlighten me please :)
10% is the best that digi has done. But some camera/lenses have cashback in december
yeah of course, 1dx mk2 and 5d mk4 both on "preorder" ha.
Just bought Canon g7x mark 2 in Bondi shop, cheapest price at the moment. Should check stock before coming, I went to Sydney CBD which has none in stock.
How is the G7X? I'm in the market for one but can't seem to find what the lowest price for it has been.
I got it for $750 which was cheapest at that time. It's brilliant with canon quality, sharp & bright images even in very low light. No 4K.
Starting from today (15 Oct) they start giving Cash Back for Fujifilm lenses and X-PRO2.
Cash Back directly from Fuji: https://fujifilm.cashback.com.au/109
Looks like this is a promo to celebrate an opening of their WA shop. Wonder if they'll do another 10% off closer to Xmas?
go pro hero 5 only 5% off
