Referee and referrer get 50% off first/next 2 Uber Reserve Rides.
For a limited time, 50% off 5 rides for referee, 50% off 1 ride for referrer. $15 discount cap per ride.
Cool, people were reporting this deal.
Yeah, I saw some guys giving them out at Melbourne Central earlier in the week.
Reporting it for referral spam?
"New customers only" over and over and over again.
These posts are basically spam. They need to stop.
If they stop then we won't have any. I've used several.
How do you used it several times? If I delete the app and reinstall it making a new account. Uber detects I have experience existing account (even if I use a different phone number) and doesn't let me use promo codes.
I think they use IMEI detection. You'll need a different device; tablet, laptop, work computer. Each one can be used three times. You'll also need a new email address.
Thanks for thr tip. I have a phone with a dual Sim so I think I have 2 different IMEI numbers. I'll give it a go :)
@sween64: You can sign up on the website then login with that account on your phone and add the promo code
@sween64: I'm going to be using diff email, diff credit card, diff device but same phone number, am I golden?
@hamwhisperer: I'd change the mobile number of your old account to something random so the new account has a unique number. I'm not sure it's necessary but it's what I do.
Does Uber know what's the population of Australia with these deals going on for years?
sorry to neg but there are still these codes for $25 off which expire 01/05/2017 and are valid for uberBLACK as well as uberX:
Fair call. PS You forgot to neg.
Hey I've done this (thank you) WTF does "not valid on taxi" mean though in the Uber menu when I check the promotions?
not valid for uberTAXI :)
What is an "uberTAXI" ? ….? (sorry I have no idea)
Just an FYI, a referral link is denoted by a message:
Promotion codes don't have this message so if you substitute RIDEMELB172, you will get no message.
This is our understanding of how these codes work based on what people have posted.
OP, where did you source this code from?
