  • How do you get the good guys voucher?

  • +3

You need to buy $50 worth of stuff to use $25 voucher

    • only if they fixed that issue…

it was working with < $50 the other day…

      • I signed up last week. Do you when they send the first voucher

        • Read the terms and conditions and you shall find out!

        • i got the first voucher about 6 days after the 2nd catalogue.

      • Entered the code before a payment of which the amount is $29.6 and can see the price updated to $4.6…

Didn't proceed further to complete the order though. I was wondering if they would have some sort of manual inspection on each order to prevent the situations like this from happening.

  • Thanks JV. Not sure if I 'opted in' but I did subscribe successfully to the digital catalogue. Is that what I needed to do?

    • yep… as long as you put in a valid mobile number, you'll get an SMS about 5-6 days after your 2nd catalogue…

      • Great. Thanks!

  • that is a nice price.
I am tempted to buy this.

are the button soft or hard plastic?

I could not tell from the product photo.

      • read through the whole specs and didn't mention anything about soft or hard plastic buttons.
        wasted my time.
        Thanks J.V

Googling some more and found the buttons to be rubber (soft plastic).
        I had these before.
        I hate them.
They attract dirt and wear out quickly. After about a year, you will find yourself pressing the button extra hard to get it to register.
and soon, some keys will stop working.

hard plastic button on the other hand, last much longer and is more reliable.

I found Panasonic and Uniden phones in general to be reliable.

    • Just bought one last week, they are soft buttons. Nice phones.

I wouldn't recommend this unit. I bought the same model a couple years ago for my parents and the volume is not very loud even on maximum. They have to use the speaker phone option all the time.

    • I have this one and yes the volume is not super loud but I found when I turned the volume up on the handset to max it was quite acceptable for me.

I wonder if it is like the people complaining about the mobile phone holder suction on your window thing. People complained they fell off in seconds. It has a lever in the base and if you don't use the lever it will fall off. Use it and it stays on for years. They just don't know how to use it.

I find the call quality is better than my previous cordless. My parents said they could hear me cleared on the new phone. Might be because this one is DECT 6.

  • Does anyone have a spare code willing to share? Thanks.
