can you point to a cheaper non - 28 day plan?
I think many providers have moved to this model. It's a terrible deal. It's not cheap and it's 3G. Who can be bothered switching over for a month to save a couple of dollars and it's not even 4G.
Where else can you get 7GB for $15? And not everybody has 4G where they live.
It'd take more than 28 days to download 7 gig over 3G, and besides, what miniscule proportion of the population doesn't get 4G?
@Sir Casm: I don't get 4G? Until about a year ago I couldn't even get broadband and these were the deals I'd have to get by on. There is nothing wrong with 3G at all if there is no alternative.
Telstra 3G speed is better than Optus 4G according to posts on internet.
Lyca also has an unlimited inter call with 6GB at same price.
Very elaborate comment
+ve'd you because it's a valid point.
I'm on my first week of this plan, I get better reception where I work (Wickham, WA) than I did through iinet (Optus reseller). I'm happy with the initial price, it's been good to be able to test their service, next month I think I'll switch to Aldi though to take advantage of 4G when I'm back home in Perth: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/261057
Click through to the fine print says only Lyca-Lyca calls are unlimited. Plus it's only 3G. Great price for what it does.
Unlimited national call included.
I just activate one sim.
?? $24.90 is the cheapest at that link. Only 3Gb data.
Just double check the price is $29.9—50% off.
