I've got this bag in my Amazon shopping basket along with a Sigma lens which is selling at a good discount. Just seeing what other deals I can find.
What lens are you looking at?.
Dcexperts on eBay have good prices. I picked up a 50-100mm from them during a 10℅ eBay sale.Hoping they're in this upcoming sale as well. Might grab the 20 or 24mm.
+1 Can vouch this is a good bag and a good price! It's been my holiday bag for about 5 years and still going strong.
Aliexpress also sell the 400AW …. but for <AUD$60 …. Is it fake? Probably at this price, but the reviews are almost universally positive from 600+ buyers.

Less 7% cashrewards.
Reviews seem to indicate it is likely a fake.
Here's a video I watched a while back that links to that exact listing. Honestly it looks pretty decent to me
Depends, I got EF70-300 2.8 II, 27-70 2.8 II, plus camera and other lenses.
Would I risk the quality of the material and stitching by saving $60…. I don't think so :-)
If I got around $8k gear inside I want to be sure it is not gonna rip and drop the gear to the ground.
Maybe for someone with light camera, light and cheap lenses - it could be a good alternative. But the Amazon Deal looks much more appetizing to me.Indeed….. and you can bet most of those reviews are left very soon after delivery, thus the reviews are not indicative of longer term use/quality.
I have bought 2 lowerpro backpacks from aliexpress and can confirm that if they are truly fake, it is pretty damn hard to tell. They have lasted over many overseas trips through rain, snow and desert conditions. I have a feeling it is a case of same factory but different branding.
I thought the zips or fabric would go eventually but nothing has deteriorated so far. I took relatively good care of it though besides the odd drop down the stairs and accidental throw.
I think I paid under $50AUD for this one on aliexpress so definately worth it for me. Would recommend.
Thanks for the info Mit…. Mmmm…..tempting!
I had one for a while, wouldn't recommend it. Apart from looking like you are on the way to a linux conference, it's awkwardly laid out, awkward to use and not that well made.
Once you thinktank, you never lowepro again.
Like if thinktank didn't look too linux conference (:

Other decent options would be Domke, Ona and Billingham.

https://www.billingham.co.uk/hadley-pro.htmlAre you seriously suggesting those bags for going to a nature location?
It is almost like offering a laptop to someone who wants a mobile phone.
The 400AW series is a backpack to suit ones who need to walk bit further than 100m from their car. The bags looks nice, but cannot imagine going for couple of hours trip with any of them.@tm001: Yeah, I was definitely suggesting them for hiking a couple of hours - you know, where I said 'these bags are totally suitable for hiking a couple of hours, for diving to the bottom of the Marianas Trench or exploring the inner moons of Saturn'.
FWIW, if you actually had to carry a bag for a couple of hours hiking, the Flipside series are a shitty choice.
Can anyone suggest a decent backpack to carry a sony a6000 camera with one lens and a laptop (plus a few clothes) for under $100? This bag seems good but I just don't really like how it looks.
Man. So many camera bags it's getting out of hand. Grabbed this one too…thanks mate.
