Buying at this level, you've saved $36.08 at Costco compared to this deal. That's over half the membership fee. Do more than two orders a year and you're gold.
Decent price but unless one is doing large scale cooking with the quinoa, I suggest getting the tri-coloured quinoa packs. Various nutritionists and naturopaths I've seen have all advised the mixed packs. More nutritional content.
Also, be sure to wash the quinoa before cooking. No matter how careful they are, the process of preparing quinoa does add in foreign substances still. Not easy to find a seive fine enough to hold quinoa but they're out there.
Oh well if various naturopaths said it I'm convinced.

Quinoa has a natural coating of Saponin which can give the quinoa a bitter taste. Most commercially prepared quinoa is pre-rinsed however it is always a good idea to rinse it yourself.

As a Vegetarian, I eat heaps Quinoa in my diet.
I get it from my local lebo deli, for 8 dollars per KG and its the freshest i have ever had it.
