  Agree, said was applied, nothing came off. Unfortunately I progressed to the next screen and got charged the full amount!
  I called Groupon - they were aware of the code but said it was not activated (yet??)- they offered to give me the $20.00 credit towards a future purchase, and to use within 3 months. Not ideal, but better than paying full amount.
