  • Still no gyroscopey for pokemon go

cmon fellas i expect better from OzB. Someone has to post the cheapest phone with a gyro for poke-go

    • for what? AR? you dont need AR to play and its worse off anyway

      • I agree but my gf wants the AR :/ But for me personally, yeah i dont need it and i agree

        • Even without a gyroscope, what's the cheapest phone that will run PGO? Still waiting for an answer in the forums..

        • @jennkei: Well, i cant confirm what the cheapest is but i bought a dodgy doogee x3 from dx which is currently at $61

          http://www.dx.com/p/doogee-x3-quad-core-android-5-1-wcdma-ba…

and it runs perfectly fine on that for me

@Iggemo: Thanks, Doogee (haha about the name) is one of the brands I'm looking at. Just worried that they'll upgrade it so 1GB can no longer play it, though, so looking for a 2GB but still fairly cheap one.

  • Question: Can i use there ZTE as a cheap android phone to buy things with my telstra prepaid credit via google play store such as netflix, etc? Thanks :)

    • only if its unlocked, otherwise cannot

      • Just checked and it is optus and doesn't look like it's android… looks more like MS-DOS

  • This device offers huge value without compromising … performance

Are we so used to these boldfaced lies that we no longer notice them?

      It's obviously meant to be:

This huge device without value … offers compromising performance

Thanks to OP for trying to be helpful, but GSM Arena shows many recent negative reviews:-

Much better off going for the Buzz if you can live with Telstra.

If you intend on unlocking the phone and using on other networks this is more versatile than the buzz. The buzz only supports 3g 850, while the LG supports both 3g 900 and 850. Usually on lower end phones you either get one or the other and not both bands. So this can be good on Telstra and Telstra network resellers like aldi and Woolworths etc. And It'll be fine on Optus and Optus resellers too.
