Keith's summary:

This is a strong business credit card that contains many of the features required for small to medium size businesses, with ease of reporting, ability to track spending, unlimited additional cardholders with no points capping, and travel related insurance cover.
This card is therefore likely to appeal to larger businesses that want to earn points into a major rewards program in ANZ Rewards that offers points transfers to the some of the key frequent flyer programs in the region – Velocity, KrisFlyer and Asia Miles. It will be especially useful for businesses that incur regular spend overseas with the bonus points on offer.

$10,000 spend is a lot of dosh and we've had ANZ offers of 50K points before with much less spend requirement, and low/nil annual fee.

    • Op did say it's for business

Spend is way too much, even for 'business' - previous offers are superior.

  • so looks like this card pays points on ATO spend…could be worth, just on that!
I was looking for another card which gave points on ATO spend…

I pay my quarterly BAS on my Coles Mastercard (not the $0 fee one, it has 1/4 the points). It pays a 1% return on spend (so $10 per $1K spent).

The reserve bank charges something like 0.42% fee for credit card payments (so 0.58% net points benefit), but the fee is tax deductible, and the points/cash discount on groceries etc is a personal benefit.

So yeah, a $6K BAS payment = $60 free groceries. And the business pays the $25 bank fee.

      • So you're paying the Fringe Benefit Tax on the personal benefit that you are gaining from a business expense?

        • You'd have to ask Mr Accountant.

    • I was told that no ANZ cards give ATO points, but happy to hear anyone's experience.

Bankwest World M/C does, at cost of .42 (or thereabouts).

      • The fine print on anz site mentions points for ato.

Here's a list of cards that earn points when paying ATO.

      • am confusing here. does ATO already withhold the pay in advance? if so why shall they paying money to ATO?

  • Just wondering if the reward points transfer say to SQ at the rate of 1:1 or what?

    • Read anz site, 1:1 only for Qantas.
