      Microsoft Registered Refurbisher ;)

    • I'm a bit of a skeptic when it comes to non-factory refurbishing! Can mean anything really?

  • Too bad they can't be bumped up in RAM…Otherwise, if you needed a Mac, this looks good to me.

  • Refurbished by our company - see About Us - http://www.reboot-it.com.au/about-us.html

    • Do you have any macbook air's with 8gb of ram available any time soon ?

    • But what does refurbished from you mean. Is it just a clean and reinstall of the os ?(meaning it's just a used item) or do you do something else?

      does the 4 year old battery get replaced?

  • Do you sell any computer comparable to this for around the same price with 8gb of ram ?

    Wow, that old screen hurts.

      900p what are you talking about that screen is fine?

        Suppose I'm just used to high res screens these days. Current 13" MacBook Pro is 2560x1600, the 12.3" Surface Pro 4 I use at work is 2736x1824.

          well if you are sitting more than a foot away its pointless.

          “If the average reading distance is 1 foot (12 inches = 305 mm), p @0.4 arc minute is 35.5 microns or about 720 ppi/dpi. p @1 arc minute is 89 microns or about 300 dpi/ppi. This is why magazines are printed at 300 dpi – it’s good enough for most people. Fine art printers aim for 720, and that’s the best it need be. Very few people stick their heads closer than 1 foot away from a painting or photograph.”

          @seanludo:
          The quote you've referenced is for phones…

          This screen is only 127 DPI. Like you quoted, magazines go for 300, which is "good enough for most people". If you've got decent eyesight, your going to notice.

          @ashanrath:

          Its for prints not phones but yeah the macbook air is below the thresh-hold is my point the SP4 is above which is getting to more than the human eye can detect and wasting unnecessary battery driving all those pixels hence the air has much bettery battery life than a SP4. Also dpi and ppi are not the same thing I think you are getting confused.

  • Decent deal. Though i would add another 50$ and get 12 months warranty for peace of mind. Do read the warranty terms.

  • include + Shipping in title

    delivery to NSW is $26.21 by road and $47.10 for priority/express (by air?)

  • my son has one of these, supplied by his school, had it since grade 9 now he's year 12. (unless his is the 2011 model??)
    he complains about how slow it is (been reimaged a few times).

  • I am not sure if it is legal to provide only 3 months of warranty according to the Consumer Law.
    Can someone familiar give us a hint?
