Might be useful to someone who needs something today
Perhaps you washing machine or fridge breaks down today, you can't go back in the past for the ebay sale.
If my washing machine or fridge breaks down today, I would buy 10 each of them and make a big stock in my garage.
They only had 20% off a very small number of items.
As pointed out by coxymla, with the $50 amex offer you could potentially get $100 of an item (assuming its $400)
Must spend $400
Might want to mention this.
On most $400 items, you could probably haggle more than $50 out of them anyway and get the discount on the spot any other day of the week.
not if they are already discounted.
The smart way is to claim this discount on already discounted items.
Don't forget to use Amex too for another $50 cashback on a $300 spend.
Cheers. Added
EXCLUDED: Apple, ASKO, Miele, delivery or Gift Card purchases

I hate the good guys so much I never want to spend another cent there. But rather than whingepost, I'd rather do something positive, so I'm giving away a $20 store credit voucher to the first person to click this and use it.
All I can say is good luck & read the fine print before handing a cent over to these bastards. And with all the exceptions & T&Cs, I'd be surprised if you can actually use the voucher on anything other than a 1 slice toaster.
ahh nuts, was in the market to psend $900 on an iphone, and got excited by the $50 off vouhcer and realisted it excludes apple!!!
that sux, was going to ask how we could do $50 x 2 if we could split the transaction up into 2 parts some how

Doesn't seem that great considering their 20% off sale was just a few days ago. + It's store credit as opposed to an actual discount.
