If your 2 yr old needs padded goalkeeper pants you might be pushing them a bit too hard:

    :S

    • You know what they say, gotta start them young

Everlast seems to be one of their main brands. Strikes me that "Everlast" is not a very inspiring name for sportswear for people trying to win.

    • +14

      mind blown

      • You don't ever-want-to-come-last?

        ok thats pushing it….

      • +3

        Cannot be unseen

    • Cool point!
I guess they meant the wear lasts forever, but I guess if you're always coming last you aren't pushing your equipment very hard…

but I guess if you're always coming last you aren't pushing your equipment very hard

Not necessarily, it could be a matter of "self-control". ;)

    • Famous boxing brand.

      • +3

You always want to be the last one standing

        • Last forever.

    • some people want the wooden spoon

    • But if they were called Neverlast their products would fall apart.

  • +3

just got half the items I bought yesterday cancelled as 'temporarily out of stock'. Those items still appear on the website.

Just be aware you may not get all you order…

    • +3

But you still have to pay the same fixed shipping cost?

      That sux!

      • +1

        yeah…sux

    • +3

Seems a bit unfair. Shouldn't you be able to cancel your order?
Edit: also would you mind listing the ones that were cancelled?

  • +2

I reduced my cart from just over $100 to just under $100 and the shipping reduced from $31 to $10

    • Depends on bulky items like shoes or jackets that bump the shipping to Barlin Express - $31.98. Most clothing comes under $10 Barlin Standard.

      • Okay happened to be a hoodie I removed.

        • As soon as you add anything puffer jacket like, it goes up and if you keep adding things it keeps going up, above and beyond $31.98

  • My shipping cart was $56, shipping was $31.88 then an item was out of stock new total is $46, shipping still the same.

…. Wouldn't be happy with part order at that shipping rate…. Will paypal cover me for full refund if that happens @

Ugh… hate being forced to enrol into verified by visa…

  • Can anyone find out why the delivery fee is around $40 (by Barlin express service) instead of $9.95 previously?

    • obviously on weight but possibly on the bulk of the purchases also

    • Barlin - Standard Service is $9.98 while Express is more depending on the large items like jackets etc.

  • Do people normally buy rainjackets one (or two?) sizes up? (To go over another jumper)

    • mine are usually the same size. they are generally a bit more roomy than jumpers

  • What items were out of stock?

  • Wasn't shipping in the last Slazenger sale from sportsdirect free?

    • It was free after spending more than a specific threshold.

    • At that price, buy now, think later.

      Can't really go wrong.

    • +3

only good as pyjamas. too ugly.

    • +3

      100% polyester. Yuck.

    • thanks for the replies guys. passed this one. but bought some Firetrap jeans. thanks op as well.

  • does anyone know how their sizes as compared to std large. i have checked their size guide and i it looks they might have bigger size then normal for the tops.

  • Anyone want to combine shipping under $100 order? I'm in sydney.

    • +1

      To save $5?

    • +5

      You're a true ozbargainer!

    • +1

Lol, well if i can save $5 here and i get another $5 somewhere else, i can pay whole month of my mobile plan.

    • I split my shipping with 9 other people from Melbourne, cost us only $1 each !!

  • Anyone purchased Everlast gear before - jackets or other? Are they pretty true to size - ie. if I usually grab medium, should I grab medium in Everlast? Some brands, like Ecko, I've found it's usually best to go down a size. Thanks.

    • +2

I don't know about all Everlast products, but those jackets they were giving away in the soccer promo, I got an L and it's more like a small. I also got an XL and it barely fits. It's short in the waist and short in the arms.

If you're able to check out a sports store near you that has a similar or same product available, try it on for size. Otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of stuff that doesn't fit properly.

      • Agree about the NUFC Soccer jacket promo a few months back!

Tried my jacket on today for the first time (had no need to wear it) and while the tag is marked LARGE, it would be a tight fit on Tyrion Lannister!

  • I wish there was a free shipping coupon

  • Is it only me that find the Ladies Hot Tuna Tuna Bikini Shorts disturbing??

  • Can you use the Bomber jackets for snowboard/skiing? Hiring fees are very expensive, I would rather own the gear.

    • I think no, snow boarding needs more textile type fabrics. Also I'm not sure if the bomber jackets are waterproof either. I guess you can buy separate body part padding with the bomber jacket if the jacket is water proof

      • I took a look around at various ski resorts in NZ and Japan, mostly $20 a day for ski jacket and pants hire. So you'd have to go skiiing several times to make it worthwhile. In Canada I hired gear from town and not at the ski resort, significantly cheaper. I'll just pay for the convenience now I think, the clothes are very bulky and hiring means you don't have to cart them with you for the rest of your trip and also have them take up space in your closet at home.

        • You can use non waterproof gear as long as it doesn't touch snow or get wet. If you're boarding, you'll be sitting down on the snow most of the time, so get cheap gear from ebay or aldi

    • Hmm maybe not. I recall falling over a lot and the snow turns into water and penetrates the clothes (even on ski clothing). Then you are freezing and you can't escape it.. seems they have ski jackets/pants on here that are significantly more expensive (and waterproof).

      • You need layers, bro! Go all polyester

  • +2

    Thanks EC, bought this

    • Just the one? There's two colours you know? Spoil yourself.

  • lots of good snowboard/ski clothing on sale if you can find the right size. Got the kids NoFear stuff in the past and its as good as the aldi stuff with the added bonus of your kids not looking like everyone elses kids on the mountain.
the Nervica brand are good quality, not a bad selection of O`Neill and also stocking HH and Spyder.

I picked up a spare O`Neil jacket and pants posted for $10, using the NZ checkout it came to about $130 all up. Going to do another order for socks and thermals.

    • +2

…if you can find the right size.

Either i've just scored a shed-load of good winter stuff, or the local op shop is about to score a shed-load of good winter stuff.

  • if you dont go skiing a lot then can wear any wayer proof javket n layer up. thats what i do for my kids and i just had to buy aldi pants fof $20

for adults its good to invest in some good quality adventure wear. dont buy too thick. waterproof jacket is fine and can double up as raincoat. to keep insulated you could wear down underneath, the thinner type of down jackets and fleece. it can get very hot when you are on mountain skiing. you can wear it on adventure holidays even for hiking.

i have a bright pink columbia ski jacket thstvi've worm several times. i love countries like NZ where outdoor adventure clothes is fashionable and you can wear it all the time n not look funny.

no matter what u do, dont get the ones with thd braces.. so umcomfy. just get a good pair of lightweight waterproof pants.

    2 jackets and a $4 ball = $30 + $30 shipping

    2 jackets no ball = $26 + $10 shipping.

Guess i am not getting a bball.

Edit: Thanks OP, btw 2 jackets delivered for $35 is a real bargain

  • I don't have paypal as payment option, does anyone else have this problem?

Country and currency have to be the same.

  • So my shipping came to just under $132 - almost 30% of the total. Cringe

  • Just wondering, how many people have had one or more of the items cancelled and when did they place their order?

    • Bought 5 items for NZ$88, gave me NZ$10 delivery. Got an email overnight saying it's been processed with the five items so I assume she's ok.
With credit card/paypal fees probably won't be much advantage in using NZ dollars but nice fun factor. Thanks.

  • +1

Did anyone else order the socks? I just got mine and they're wayyy too small even though I'm size 9 and it says size 10-12.5.

    • Ugh so apparently the C stands for children's sizes. FML.

    • yeap way smaller than expected

  • +1

This is probably a bit late, but just to save anyone else who goes to buy without double checking…

I just received my Everlast Rain Jacket today and it's worth noting it's literally just a single layer of thin waterproof material, not a padded/insulated jacket in the traditional sense - it's just designed to keep the rain off, not to keep you warm.

The penny should have dropped when I saw "lightweight", but I just saw "jacket", assumed it was a run-of-the-mill jacket, and foolishly clicked buy :(
