    $8 off with coupon: CLIXEXCLUS
    $390 delivered.

  • Use code LOVE for $6 off (instead of WELCOME)

  • +2

They also have the 16gb model for around $325 delivered as well, which is pretty cheap seeing ebay and such (also says it supports all 4G bands).

    • Added links to post.

    • 16g version might not be H791.

      • +2

16GB version is definitely H791. Bought one last week and it arrived Monday morning.

  • Good price, lowest ever for the 32GB and equal lowest for 16GB.

  • +3

The 16Gb model came with a europlug(?)
It also came with an adapter that didnt fit that plug.

    • Are you sure? Mine fits…

    • Mine didn't fit into the supplied adaptor either. Had to buy a new one locally (which was extremely hard to find). Not mad though, considering price and fast delivery.

      • what type and where did you get it from?

        • +1

Got it from the last eGlobal deal. Came with a travel adapter that had multiple sets of squared holes, not round ones to match with the charger that came in the box. My unit was Indian sourced, based off the box and warranty card.

        • @BradH13: Haha should have made myself clearer, I recommended one of these for my mum and now she is in the same boat except couldn't find an adapter so the that is what I were asking about.

        • @tryagain: We got one this one that also has the Europe, etc round holes on the bottom that's not pictured (https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/Search/Products?searchTer…), BUT it required modification with a hacksaw as the LG charger is an odd shape, and the travel adapter is a recessed round hole. Don't really know how safe it is, but we taped it up with electrical tape and it works a treat.

The safer option would be using a regular usb charger, and buying a USB Type A to Type C cable. You lose rapid charging ability this way though.

    • Ditto! Pretty annoying!

    • +1

I just got done dealing with this exact issue.

I take it the phones are sourced from Korea and so the charger is not a euro plug but a Korean plug. These two plugs are easily confused as they are both two prong cylinders. The Korean plug prongs are shorter, thicker and slightly closer together. The European plug is longer and thinner.
They are just sending out universal adaptors without realising that they do not support the Korean plug.

It took quite a lot of back and forth and explaining with images as they themselves didn't even know the difference.

They have now agreed to a small refund so that I can purchase another charger/adaptor.

Other then this small issue, everything else has been great and will buy from them again.

    • Yupp bought the 16 GB last week and it came with an adaptor that didn't fit as well

  • +1

Glad that the price has come back down again. For those who's after an even cheaper price you can go with the H798. I am using a H791 from JB and my wife's using an H790 from eGlobal (we are both on Telstra). There is literally no differences in Metro Melbourne despite the missing B28 on H798.

  • how's the battery life of this phone? it only has 2700mah and 2gb ram, can i get a comment from the users already? does it lag when full of apps and how long is the battery life?

    • +1

      http://imgur.com/a/45LeK

      very mediocre battery life

      • Calculated the screen on time would be roughly 2hrs from 100%-0%… that's actually really bad, did you play any games?

        • It got better once i did a complete reset.

XDA forum peeps advised not to restore from Backups — you know how once you get the phone started Android gives you an option to download all your apps and the appdata from the cloud? Make sure this option is turned off to prevent it from restoring any data.

Wifi and BT murders the battery life but I am quite dependant on bluetooth as I have a smartwatch.

Still I was averaging about 3.4 hours of screen on time even with the latest update, so I sold my Nexus and went back to my much more excellent LG G2.

        • @scrimshaw: Recent OTA updates are said to have improved stability and battery life vastly. When did you sell it?

    • +1

Battery life is much better than the Nexus 5, if that's anything to go by….

I've only got around 6.5g of stuff (mainly music) on it and don't find it laggy.

    • Yeah battery life is not great. I find myself having to plug it in around 3 in the afternoon. I just assumed phones nowadays can all last the day at least :(

    • Battery life longevity is great for this phone (but i am probably a light user)
But that is down to Doze.
I would agree that battery life can be poor if it wasn't for the software extending it out where possible.
It easily makes the day, and well into the next if need be.
But if the processor is going, it will take as much juice is possible.

  • You can get this 32gb model from Kogan for $383 delivered with 10% code "takeoff10"

    • You sure it is the same H791 model with Band 28

      • +1

No not the same. Logan doesn't have band 28. Not everyone needs it though.

    • +1

Kogan only sell the H798 model which does not have the latest 4G bands.

      • I was advised by the Kogan Customer Care Team in regards to my enquiry as to whether they sold the H798 or the H791, that:

'…we are unable to guarantee the exact model number of the phone you will receive. However, we can assure you that all phones sold on our website will work perfectly on Australian networks.'

I understand 'perfectly' to mean it can use all bands (band 28 included) used by all Australian networks. Otherwise this statement made by the Customer Care Team would amount to a misleading claim, prohibited under Australian consumer law.

        • They state that for all of the phones that they sell, obviously they wouldn't be the H791 model otherwise they would list it as such.

    • Get another $30 back from Kogan with Amex offer (spend $150 or more get $30 back. expires June 9)

After ozbargainers binged on the Moto X Style yesterday, I doubt people would be lining up for this haha

Very good price though, so a + from me

    Cheers

    • This phone isn't as big in the hand as the Moto X, which is a slight plus

      • +4

It also has a better camera, a finger print sensor and the latest OS updates. Even when google drops it's support for this phone, you still have a strong community behind you.

    • +1

Is that the deal on a vodaphone plan?

      • Or you could also get it outright.

    • Gutted when I missed that, my n5's camera just began to fail and I'm considering just getting a whole new phone..

  • Theres a known bug with these phones where the OS goes corrupt. Currently sorting it out with google now.

    • did you buy it ftom Google Store ur did retailer refuse to acknowledge?

Is it the boot loop issue?

      • I got it from google store.

yes boot loop is part of it. constant freezing / crashing / boot loop + corrupt warning message at startup

Its a shame because I actually like these phones ( has a nexus 5 before the 5x ) and like the stock standard andrioid without all the bloatware. I will get another one as long as they can guarantee they have fixed the corrupt os problems.

    • I'm sorry, but where is it documented that it is a known issue?

  • I got the 16gb version from a previous deal. IMO, pretty good phone - good size (for me anyway, fits comfortably in hand), nice screen and its pretty responsive. However, battery life is rubbish. The screen seems to use a lot of battery and just general surfing results in noticeable reduction in battery. On the positive, when the phone is in standby, it uses very little power! But whats the point in having a phone that your afraid to use?

    • -3

Welcome to google nexus phones, where the user experience is great but doesn't last because the battery life is shite

      • +4

not all Nexuses. Nexus 6P's battery life is superb.

        • As it should be on a 5.7" phab, 3450mah should give you at least full days of use.

But still smaller compared to 4000mah of a budget XM Note 3 phab, and my 5.2" LG G2 manages to pack in a 3000mah battery.

      • Wow, totally incorrect. I have the Nexus 6 and the batter life is amazing. Easily 2 days without charge with some surfing, reading, music streaming, Bluetooth audio and phone calls and messages…

Now, let's compare that to the wife's iPhone 5s… About 9 to 10 hours doing the same things.

        • Hmm, my friend that had a nexus 6 seems to say the exact opposite.
I guess the funny thing about batterylife is that there isn't really a way to really know, as everyone's usage is so different…

  • Purchased! Thanks heaps.

  • +1

farkkk ordered this off ebay the other day from DWI for $425…

    • me too…

      • did they take 4 days to dispatch yours as well?

        • Yep, mine is actually on transit. Mildly annoyin as I was hoping to have it on the weekend.

        • @ntebis: ditto! glad I'm not the only one atleast…..they're usually good as a web store but the 32GB was out of stock on their store

  • -2

    2gb ram… weak…

    • +1

      For what?

      • Facebook app and a few tabs in chrome would have almost taken up all that 2gb.
2gb ram was flagship in 2012 (nexus 4), midrange in '13, low-mid range in '14.
        Quite bad in '15.
2gb in 2016 is for something like that $170 kogan agoga 6

        • Sum of all the parts, not everyone needs everything stored in RAM. Fit example I can wait 1 second for a page to reload if I happen to use all the 3gb ram of my 2015 flagship. 1 while gig more…. Zzzzz. This phone had 1gb than flagship phones of the year it was released. Can't compare to Samsung it lg out htc as they sound use more RAM anyway.
Nexus 6p which is a fantastic phone had 1gb more than this, and remember it's also almost double the resolution which impacts RAM also.
I'm not existing their choice, in just saying it's not as bad as you are implying. Considering flagship phones of the same year had trouble doing anything without lagging

        • +1

The Facebook app is memory hungry and can't really be used in this argument, I have never ran into issues with running out of RAM on my 5X.

        • +1

          @tranqme:

Same here, with FB app and heaps of stuff open in chrome / youtube always have at least 500mb spare. 2GB seems more than adequate even if not the most available on the market.

  • Is it dual sim

    • +1

No, I believe it's a nano sim only.

  • I sooo want one of these, but I live in a Courier defined rural area and it adds another $30+ freight. Which is stupid because DHL and Toll both have distribution centres 500m from where I work. It's a business address and we receive freight from both these companies on a daily basis…

One day I will get me a cheap 5X

  • +1

Finally took the plunge. Cheers! Ordered Thursday - hope to receive it next week. Thanks for the USB Type C link too!

Looks like they wanna know if your credit card is fraudulent.

      • I wish it was, then I wouldn't have to pay the bill :P

  • +1

FYI they're out of stock and won't be getting more in for over a week:

"*Due to large demand of sales on this Nexus 5X model, current inventories are sold out. We are expecting restock shipment by May 16th/18th,2016. Thank you for your understanding and we sincerely apologize for the delays. We hope you enjoy our great price offer!"

    • I've got e-mail saying that it will delay till 24th of May. Should I start to worry?

      • I don't think there's much to worry about except the fact that it's gonna take longer to get to you. I actually ordered one from DWI two days ago and got a message today saying they're out of stock also. I was hoping they perhaps had a different inventory to eGlobal (same company) but alas, it doesn't appear to be the case. I actually paid more via DWI too :(

  • It been removed from the site, so expired.
