        • That's right, i've done it many times but unless the resell value has a $35+ profit in it for me i won't bother personally

  • Went to Target Country in Windsor, NSW today at around 1pm.

    Heaps of games.
From memory, but I can't remember all of them.

    • Little big planet
    • Rachet and Clank
    • Destiny
    • Call of Duty
    • Just Dance wiiU
    • Far Cry 4

HEAPS of skylander trap team starter packs.

    they had 1 AC XBONE.
    and some 2DS's for $99

As I said, that's just from memory..

Went into Target Glen Waverley this afternoon around 4pm. Disappointing to see the PS4 stock so low compared to xbone. Picked up Helldivers, however i saw the following:
2x Dishonoured, 1x F1 2015, 1x heavy rain collection, 2x shovelknights, plenty of little big planet.
4x few far cry 4's, a stack of the crews. 2x Mortal Combat.
Also spoke to the guy on staff, he had a bunch of new stock that just came in such as bloodborne, around 8 or so as well as dark souls 3 and some other xbone games. Also plenty of Wii and Ds titles. Also a few D's were instock, not sure which ones though but definitely saw stock aswell as Wii u consoles.
However, when I was leaving, I saw a guy with a basket full of Xbone titles :/

    • Damn, I want Mortal Kombat but I can only find MK XL for sale, not the standard MK. :(

  • Are the Skylanders amiibo ones on sale too? (Donkey kong and bowser)

Also is The Crew PS4 worth the $15?

Was gonna get Geas of war Xbox one for $25 but thought I'd wait till cheaper, thoughts?

  • Northland (Vic) has decent amounts of games (couple of bays each of 3DS, 360 & PS3, not so much for XBOne or PS4).

No consoles that I could see though.

    • Also has a full shelf set of Amiibos. A lot of Bowser Jnr & Pikmin, but some others too.

Lots of Skylander sets as well.

    • I got the last console they had in stock (PS3) at around 2pm
My friend works at northland and went and got it for me

    • +1

Saw a guy walk out with a xbone console (looks like the AC bundle) around 6pm.

      • Must of been on hold.. I ended up having to get my XBONE from Knox cause Northland had no stock "available"

        • just got an xbox one from northland today ??

  • Oh poop I just bought a 12GB PS3 for 140$ at my local BigW clearance…

    • Not a bad price at all but 12GB is probably not enough space.

  • FINAL FANTASY TYPE O PS4 $ 89.00 —> $ 15.00 this is painful :(

Anyone been to any Perth NOR stores? Keen to pick something but I can't really be bothered driving anywhere if there's nothing left.

    • +1

Picked up Assassins Creed Kinect Xboxone at Innaloo around 3.30. Last xboxone on sale I was told. A few games left reduced but not many. Followed up by going to Balcatta Target, got Halo MCC for $25, Battlefield Hardline for $15 and Elder Scrolls Online for $12. A few copies of each left.

There was some other stuff at Balcatta but as they have no scanners on shelf so I left it at that. I had already spent a heap for the day and the guy behind counter was a bit frazzled after a hectic day; I felt it would be cruel to make him scan a whole shelf :)

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I got 2 x 360 wireless headsets for $5 each at Innaloo.

What sort of things were you after? There were some Xbox One bundles at Ocean Keys and Joondalup. Ocean Keys also had some of the 3DS XLs. This was at around lunchtime. As for games there are a few here and there… I saw Halo MCC, Sunset Overdrive, FF Type 0, Tearaway Unfolded, Shovel Knight as well as some of the $2-$5 PS3 games.

      • Took a drive down to Whitfords in the end. They had heaps of the XBONE games. They had The Crew, Destiny, ESO, AC Unity on PS4 from memory. Tonnes of PS3 games, including about 15 copies of Red Dead.

  • Just went and got my lil bro an xbox one for his bday. Thanks for sharing man!

Bought a few cheap 360 games some without the original box.

LEGO LORD OF THE RING $1
    KINET SPORTS SEASON TWO $1
    DARKSIDERS II $1
    BIOSHOCK INFINITE $2
    SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST $5
    BATMAN ARKHAM ORIGINS $5

    • good games for $1 DarkS 2,Bioshok , Batman

      • I am not sure whether I really will play them :p

        • i play them for 5 minutes then store them

        • @bti_jet:

          Me too.

  • I stopped by Glendale NSW earlier this evening…the game shelves looked positively post-apocalyptic! :'(

    • So nothing of note at all? Any of the other Newcastle stores have anything decent?

      • +1

I didn't check any others, but Glendale was utterly devoid of any title that might have been reduced…only a few full priced new releases on the end of the aisle!

  • Picked up a Wii U splatoon console from Broadmeadows. Apparently they had 18 in stock as of this morning.

    • any ps3 or xbox consoles??

    • I went yesterday to Brodmedows and bought 1 splatoon bundle and 2 ps3 12gb.

They had more stock of each left.

I bought around 20 games as well.

  • +1

just came back from Parramatta Target.. they about five copies of Devils third Wii U

they also had 3 splatoon consoles too in stock

Xbox One Assassin's Creed Kinect bundle had one left at Albury (NSW) at 2pm after I bought one. There were two left in Wodonga (VIC) when I checked just before closing today at 5:40pm. They hadn't put the markdown price tickets on them in the cabinet but they do scan at $329. Wodonga Target also had five Xbox One Turtle Beach Headsets left at $60 and good range of XB1 games and star wars themed controllers left available.

Life as an OzBargainer. I'm not a gamer & have no interest in gaming but am disappointed I'm not involved in the madness to secure a game/games at cheap prices. You know that feeling when people organise a get together & you don't get invited. :-) :-) :-) Enjoy those games everyone!

    • Don't worry, you didn't miss much of a party here…I'm sure I saw a tumbleweed roll down the aisle between the stripped bare PS & XB shelves at our local…

    • I haven't play my 360 for a long time but I still bought some games couldn't resist :p

I couldn't remember how many games I bought without touching them.

    • +4

Thanks to OzBargain I now have 100 games on my shelf that I'll never play! 😋

    • Looks like you got yourself a classic case of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)

  • Please do not harass in store staff…

You're not the boss of me. That is for a court to decide…

  • Picked up F1 2015 and Mortal Kombat X. Both games i wanted, but not at 50-70 bucks. $25 and 30 respectively so i was quite happy

  • Went to Sefton Plaza today and just picked up a Sony headset for $99 as there were not many games left that I haven't played or bought already. Still had the ac xbone bundle but that was at around 1.30 today.

  • Anyone had a chance to go to the Capalaba target in QLD? I'm going tomorrow morning but doubt anything will be left…

  • Sefton park has one if not two Xbox one consoles. SA

    Good luck

  • +1

I just wanted to say what an awesome piece of work you've put together.

  • For the Xbox One noobie that I am, which is the best xbox one bundle to buy at present? I seen different bundles but don't know the difference, ie in HDD size, whats included etc? If there was one to buy which is the best deal at Target? Thanks

    • +1

It comes down to either the 1tb halo bundle or the assassin's creed + kinect 500gb bundle. I have heard MS stops support and no new games will make use the kinect but who knows. My local doesn't have Halo 1 tb bundle but i am ok with either of 2 bundles they both are good value.

      • Don't forget you can easily just attach any external portable USB3 hard drive (i.e. those Seagate 2Tb drives that were on sale for around $100 recently), and the Xbox lets you install games onto the external drive. :)

Cant believe there are scumbags who take a trolley load.
Next grub i see im taking a pic and posting his head everywhere.

  • sigh

the resellers are having a field day, gear ain't even lasting half an hour with big markups on gumtree here.

  • anyone recall seeing dead rising 3, gears of war or sunset overdrie on xbox1 in Perth? its really the only xbox exclusive games ive been wanting :D

    • +2

Sunset Overdrive is free on GWG if you've got Live Gold in two days…

      • Thats great. Sorry im coming over from playstation. If i stop sibscribing to gold live, do i loose the games?

        • +1

Good question, the official answer is that you lose them on XB1 but not 360; but I have a family member with an XB1 who let his gold lapse earlier this year & is still playing his GWG titles…others have reported similar stories on OzB…but safest to plan for the worst case, hope for the best.

That said, when Gold is cheap (like the recent 24mth for $90) it's well worth having for online play & other benefits.

        • +1

@StewBalls: thanks for that. ill keep a look out on them cheap gold offers

        • +1

          @PreSsieGuY:

You don't lose games with gold once you download them, it's yours

        • @designate: Correct. That's actually a good distinction to make; what I should have said is that in theory with XB1 you will retain them but should not be able to play them once your XBLG lapses…although in practice that seems to be somewhat hit & miss! ;)

        • @StewBalls: so just to clarify, if i only subscribe for a year, i only have have those games until my subscription ends. If i stop subscribing to it, i wont be able to continue to play.

        • @StewBalls:

Ah…yes you will be able to play them once your GWG expires too (this was in X360) and your official answer is XB 1 does not allow the games playable..but I have to wait and see till my GWG expires :P

        • +1

@designate: thanks for your replies guys.
might have to get a trail or one month of Gold live account to get the current game as well as sunset over drive coming up

  • Can anyone tell me what the xboxone charging station is?

I thought it was this: https://www.target.com.au/p/dual-controller-charger-xbox-one… but when I went to Target yesterday, it scanned in as $35 instead of $20 as on the price list.

  • Plenty of games left at Carindale QLD as of 815am this morning. No consoles. 1 copy of MGSV on XBONE and PS3. Was looking for PS3 games so didn't take too much notice of exact stock for the others.

  • +1

Not much in Target Canberra Centre, but got Puzzle Dragon on 3DS for $20. Thanks!

  • +1

Got shovel Knight for Wii U… The only game I wanted… Missed out on the Xbox 360 :(

    • Is it any good

I looked at it and it's 8bit and just put it back but it had me thinking

      • +1

It's great… Watch some reviews on YouTube. The game is a homage to classic nes games.

        • Thanks

  • +1

      • +1

Can't remember about sonic boom, but they didnt have Disney planes

  • Target North Lakes had 9 xbox consoles and 3 PS4 consoles last night
Had quite a few infinity 3 for most consoles also.
Had some 3DS but not the ones listed on the image

  • Xbox One, Kinect, Ass Creed for $329 would be nice but I imagine very difficult to find.

    • If you are in WA "a pile at the back" the helpful staff at my local Target told me.

      • WA is a big place care to be more specific?

        • Bullcreek

        • @wtfnodeal:
My wife picked up one at 9am this morning From Bullcreek, thanks for the heads up!

        • +2

@kuepper: Glad you got one. I have to credit the staff at the Bullcreek Target store are super friendly and luckily it is also my local store.

    • I was able to get one in Elizabeth SA and they said they had one or two more on Wednesday. The Target at Rundle Mall also had some.

  • Still quite some left at Warringah mall on all platform.

Bought assassin's creed III 360 for $2 no box.

    • Damn just found out only have disc 2 :(

  • -1

is the $329 xbox with kinect good value?

    • Look at past deals and make your own mind up.
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/xbox-one

Personally I would of jumped if it was a PS4. So it's not good value to me, but to someone who wants an Xbox One, yes it is maybe.

      • but its the same price with the bundle without kinect…

  • F1 2015 a crazy good deal at the price ($25), given its the latest instalment in the series (the developers don't follow EA's convention of naming the new release a year ahead of the release date).

Picked up from target airport West just now, last one

    • +4

Also, the lady serving me asked if I found out about this via Ozbargain. Stand proud ladies & gentlemen, stand proud.

      • +1

Yes the lady in that store definitely knows about us, I was having a chat with her this morning about it :) She knows the website :)

      • I went there too and she asked me the same question LOL

  • Thanks OP. Bought the Kinect bundle $329 this morning at Joondalup WA this morning. Very helpful staff member said there were still some left but all the Halo bundle gone. Quite a few games on the shelf being priced. Kids very happy.

  • +1

Managed to score Wii Fit U at Knox and PS4 Shovel Knight at the Melb city store. Both seemed to be last copies.

    • For Wii Fit U, was it the one with the balance board? If so, how much was it?

  • Still a few Wii-U Titles at Target Geelong (CBD).

Rabbids Land, Kirby, Devil's 3rd, Splinter Cell.

    No Captain Toad.

Still need Captain Toad if anyone sees it on their travels.

    • There was one Captain Toad left at Sunbury as of 1.30 today. Also one Yoshi's Wooly World amiibo bundle left at Epping as of 2.30.

        • Ahh crap sorry mate, I was, I saw it there too! I bought it ages ago so didn't need it. Didn't find much to my liking there, there was an empty spot for a wii U party for $5, just got sold the lady said! Grrrr. Anyone seen wii U party or wii u sing party ?

  • The food looks great

  • +1

    Thanks OP

Only thing I managed to get was the Skylanders Trap Force 3DS Starter Pack

Was tempted by the Assassins Creed 500gb XBOX One bundle, but given the same bundle + Kinect was the same price (no stock though at my local) I felt I was getting ripped off paying the same price and not getting Kinect :(

BTW Love all the people who commented they bought 10x games and don't even give a positive vote to your deal. Unfortunately that's a big part of the Ozbargain crowd these days….
