Still trying to get my bonus points from the last CommBank promo from 6 months ago.

    • What have you done?

      • I've called many times. They agree that I should receive the points. I managed to get the annual fee refund. Now I'm giving them until the 17th (when the next lot of points for my monthly spend is due) and then I'll escalate my complaint.

    • I had no end of trouble trying to get the points and the refund from the last deal. Personally, I wouldn't bother dealing with CommBank again.

What's with the flood of Awards Points non-deals today ???

    • +2

Yup…. They need to have more no annual fees ones…

      • Upvoting and having people apply to these fee ones will only encourage banks to not give fee free

        • The deals are the way they are because interbank rates went down. But the banks are still posting record profits. heh.

    • Better than sex books. …

  • IIRC 100,000 points gets you $500 voucher of your choice so this gets you $400?

Just a note for those who transfer the points to QFF, they've increased the rate from 2 CBA to 1 QFF, to now 2.5 CBA to 1 QFF point

    • I got the letter in the post the other day. Mongrels!! CBA awards keeps getting worse and worse :(

    • While technically this is a rate increase, I think it is better to say they've decreased the rate (as suckers customers are now worse off).

  • Started with a CBA gold card, then have had two offers over the last 6 years to upgrade to next level for free. Now paying gold card fees for diamond card. Worth calling them if you have a card and asking for an upgrade..

    • i have a wealth package with them and get Diamond for free.

  • CBA posts a $9 billion profit last year and just recently announced they were reducing the value of reward points. (Which some orhers have mentioned)
They were also caught out trying to not pay out for insurance claims.

If this is not greed then i dont know what is.

  • But they paid for brisbane flood claims after they told me that they do not cover flood damage. Then they expected me to continue to pay their exorbitant premiums. Pfft..

Nab premium rewards card comes with bonus 60,000 points, but the annual fee is $150 a year. Better than $250 or $350.

  • Recently increased points required for Flight centre gift card. Cash advance charge if you use it for Western Union payment.

  • Commbank are a bunch of (profanity). But I have a mortgage with them and can't change that at this stage. My package includes fee-free credit card for the life of the loan. Does that include this and does it mean I will also get the points?

  • just let you guys aware that CBA has just changed their points exchange program. That is, every 2.5 CBA points to 1 QFF point. Before the change, it was 2:1.

I am currently using this card (Diamond) but going to cancel it because of the reduce of points earning.

  • I've had the diamond card for past 5+ yrs, got upgraded so my fee is about $60. I cant justify paying $350, the rewards program sucks, I never qualify for travel insurance (read conditions carefully), dont live in Sydney so lounge is out of question, never had to call for concierge service.
