  The credit card fees are extraordinarily high:

  "Payment received via Credit Cars will incur the following fees: Visa / MasterCard 3% and American Express / Diners 5%"

  This makes the five-star option $514pp via Visa and $524pp via AMEX (which people often have for travel advantages).

  You've taken the time to say "*Credit card fees apply & will be advised at time of booking" so why not simply state your payment policy (if you are uncomfortable with your own policy then change it by absorbing fees into a higher price.)

  It is counterproductive to obscure costs, since people will find out about this at the payment phase. A prospective customer will rightfully feel misled, and frustrated about having wasted their time with the decision. While some people will begrudgingly accept this, trust will be diminished from both them, and others who then change their mind.

  I'm not familiar enough to say whether this is still a good deal, but, I would be wondering: what else are you hiding?

    You would do well to add that credit is not the only payment form, rather than stating "Full payment by credit card* at time of booking" which implies that it is.

  Just so you all know, you can get $191 return flights on some June-August dates from AirAsia right now (from Perth, just like this deal).

  The accomodation bundle prices seem quite good if you want to go to any of those hotels though.

      Are you calling for Perth departures? We have had a few people coming through asking for East Coast as they misread the information. This deal is Perth only.

        Not surprising since the web site says nothing about where the airfares are from or that restrictions apply (even though it appears in this thread). By implication the ad is saying air fares from anywhere in Australia.

          We don't actually have this special advertised on our website, and we never did. As for prices not stating what city they are from on our website you actually have to select your departure city in every section of our site before recieving your prices so again I am confused.

          Can you please clarify what you mean so in turn we can heed your advice and make ammendments where needed? Thank you!

  OK guys - computer glitch! Seats went on sale earlier than was planned by the airline!

  Anyone who has booked already is fine. For everyone else call us first thing Tuesday morning to secure these prices as seats will be re-released then :)

  Guess in a way it gives you the chance to plan better and discuss with relatives and friends without running the risk of missing out on seats! Now you will be all ready to rock and roll come Tuesday morning!
