    Yeah, no.

I paid for the app back when it wasn't freemium and now they keep pushing for me to pay again, to get features back I have already paid for.

The only reason I haven't left them is I got over 2800km logged.

    • How long ago was that? I've had free RunKeeper since conception (running around with an iPhone 3G). Pro features were introduced years later. Wasn't it always a prescription service?

No there use to be two seperate apps. One free, one $10.

Here's an article of when the paid app temporarily went free back in 2010.

Being reminded I actually paid $10 for the app makes me even madder.

        • I paid $99.99 for Sygic Maps. I know them feels.

    • Try Tapiriik. It will sync all your data with most of the other decent running apps.
I'm a Garmin fit fan now.

      • Awesome. I needed this to sync to Strava. I use RK as my main one. Pretty annoying to run multiple apps. Hopefully I won't need to use C25K now that I have RK Go.

    • 2800km? ..thats loads of running…

Started in 2009. So only averages to be 7.69km/week.

If it wasn't for Runkeeper this nerd would be huge.

They implemented my request of logging weather during a run!!

  • I find the constant nagging to upgrade is a PITA. I have never paid for the app (got it in 2011), but they used to have more metrics available in the free version. I would not mind paying a one-off fee, but the thought of an annual subscription fee leaves me cold.

Similar to PainToad, I've got so many kms clocked that I don't want to change apps. I use it to track my walking, rather than running, so don't care about the many reports it can generate (just 2 extra reports is all I am interested in).
