Ugly is too expensive for me, going to order some banana plugs from ebay now, cheers.
FYI, 20 awg is 33 mΩ/m , so if you use half the roll (15m) on one run, its one ohm return, which is acceptable.
Its the length of the run that matters more than your speaker size.
Although not 20AWG, Bunnings have 30m of thicker 18AWG for around $14 everyday of the week - http://www.bunnings.com.au/studio-acoustic-30m-18ga-speaker-…
good find. that is really good price, I tried JB and Jaycar but they were much more expensive, never realise they are sell them at bunnings….
If you get really excited they will price match at JB (done it before) as they sell the same cable: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tv-home-entertainment/tv-accessori…
Hmm nice.. might compare this to my existing 15yr old rear speaker cable and consider upgrading.
If you are planning on installing speakers anytime soon and want decent cables, 20AWG is plenty thick. Sure there are better brands like Ugly but at the end of the day it is just conducting electrons and you will likely not notice the difference. I got 18AWG Ugly cable after days of research but would have jumped on this at this price for sure.
PS, get banana plugs and install them on the cable, you will thank yourself later.
