Jetstar responds to Virgin's $29 fares with $25 fares. Got to love competition. TODAY ONLY

For today only we have fares on sale for $25 to some great Australian destinations! Fares are on sale until midnight (23:59 AEDT) tonight, unless sold out prior, so get in quick to take advantage of these fantastic fares!

Sydney to Gold Coast - $25
Melbourne (Tulla) to Hobart - $25
Melbourne (Tulla) to Launceston - $25
Sydney to Melbourne (Avalon) - $25

Travel Periods: 4-29th of May, 3-28th of August

Travel is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays only. Fares may not be available on all flights and days.

Fares are on sale until midnight (23:59 AEDT) Wednesday 31 March 2010, or until sold out. Other sales are currently running to some of our amazing Jetstar destinations around Australia and overseas, so make sure you visit our sale page for all the details and to book your flights.

Sale fares are one-way JetSaver Light^ fares for when you travel with carry on baggage only. However for only $10 more you can choose a JetSaver fare and get a 20kg checked baggage allowance.

    Personally Id pay the extra $4 to fly Sydney to Melb (Tullamarine).

      Use the Jetstar price guarantee then, you can get your Syd-Mel (tullamarine) flight for $26.10 lol

      Yeah, I'd agree. At only $4 cheaper for Avalon, I think that's a bit of an epic fail on the part of Jetstar.

      Could you still use the 'Price Beat Guarantee' on the $29 Virgin flights though? Would come down to around $26 without any credit card surcharge. Has anyone ever tried price beating Virgin / Tiger with one of their one-day sales?

        Yes, I have previously used the jetstar price guarantee on Tiger's $2 fares, brought the fare down to $1.80 lol

    man if it was a week earlier it'd be awesome, i can only get the sale fares on the way back (to the gold coast) and the $25 fares are for 6:10 and 7:10am flights only…. fail :(
