  • Great price. Was looking for one of these with a friend who's a semi-pro photographer and the cheapest you can get them in Australia is about $250 plus delivery - that's just the ColorMunki Display on its own.

  • I have a Spder3Express…but not very confident of its colour profiling as 2 of my monitors don't get quite the same even after calibration….is the ColorMunki a better performer?

    • +1

From what I hear, the ColorMunki software is crippled(to be expected, as it's the same hardware as the more expensive i1 Display Pro) and you'll have a very hard time to match multiple displays. Word is the i1 Display Pro is still the best of the consumer(?) gear. Of course I can't even match displays using a $2K i1 Pro at work hah.

      • This is what I see from the specification:

        • Dual display support requires either 2 video cards or a dual head video card that supports dual video LUTs being loaded

So I believe that dual monitor support is builtin…if this differs from your experience please do tell.

        • I think this depends on the OS too. Older winblows might struggle.

        • @Berek: Thanks. Is windows 10 okay with this?

        • I have only used the i1 Pro. I'm just going by others experience as I've been looking for something cheaper for use at home.

From what I can gather, the calibration options are more limited, making it more difficult to try and match multiple monitors.

        • @TheContact: Thanks for that info.

        • @jeeg:
Sorry, I can't help. I use OSX (which does work). A quick google says it's a real issue. AMD's don't unless you get the workstation class card.

    • Yes it is awesome the colormunki. And thats coming from someone that is very cynical. But…
You have to remember if you're buying from a US Newyork camera warehouse here that doesn't look after it warehouse employees so keep that in mind.
      (google that news for yourself)

I would buy it elsewhere for ethical reasons but that's me.

  • ColorChecker Passport link not working

    …on mobile

    • That's odd. It works on PC but not on mobile!!

  • So how is the DISPLAY compared to the SMILE?

    • +1

Smile is not even worth opening the box. even at a hobby level. do not buy a smile.

  • Does it work with lcd TVs that are not used as a monitor?

  • I have bought a few things from this Victorian seller. Colorchecker Passport currently $115 with Express delivery (think I paid $94 early last year).
Usually only lists the X-Rite i1Display Pro from the callibration line, so not this cheap.

  • So if I connected my NUC to the Samsung TV, it would then calibrate the TV or adjust the video settings in the NUC?
