        • I suppose rather than it being impossible, you could probably get away with it once or twice, after which it gets flagged as "money laundering behaviour" or something and you get pulled up on it, card gets blocked, etc.

Dunno. I can imagine some intrepid OzBargainer would probably be game to try.

        • Try it and their rude staff will deactivate your card without explanations. They will hold your money and you will have to call them and beg them to release your money, it's wasting your time. Do not deal with this company.

Each Coles Reloadable card has $6000 load limit per 365 days so you need a lot more cards to do this.
I used Qantas Cash card as a debit card in my Coles Prepaid account and successfully topuped the amount. Now just wait the transaction to complete and see any points generated.
I think it should be fine if you just use it occasionally as a way to withdraw some cash while earn points.

        • @Neoika: Do you know how long it will take to see the point credited ?

        • @yht: First time using it in this way.Points has not turned up yet. From some search,it takes up to 4 weeks for purchase points to appear.

        • @yht: Got the points today or maybe yesterday.

      • This is at least limited by the $6000 you can store to that card in total in 365 days

  • I would have thought that the reload can be done by another credit card, thus earning points, but since having it now, I would not see the point of having it other than for hiring free video ezy and free trial membership of anything. I will definitely withdraw the full amount in the card at Westpac ATM rather than using it for shop, to pay the credit card that I paid for.

    • or you can do that at a coles express atm and get a free coles simcard.

      • True

  • Got my card and also 2000 Flybuys points deposited into my account today! Thanks OP!

    • So I was wondering…Could I top up the card with my visa debit card and then use the master card to buy woolies egift card from cash rewards.com at 5% discount?
The benefit would be that you get 1 point per $2 spent, so every time i buy a $500 egift card for $475 i would also get 237 FB points?

      • If you have an AMEX card, just use AMEX card on everydaygiftcard website and earn more points.

        • Don't have an Amex…sorry.

        • @macfanboy: Then I don't see why you will not earn Flybuys points. It should work as you said.BTW,as I read through the T&Cs,the maximum load is $6000 per year.

Yes I did that before and got the points.
