  • Not stated above, but looks like 140 watts per channel (@6ohm). 1% THD.

    • Is that good?

      • 140w/ch is higher than a lot of receivers in this price point (often 100-130w/ch).
Some other brands have lower distortion than 1% - but 1% is not uncommon.

  • You actually believe those power ratings?

For the record most of them are rated at 2 (front) channels driven, and 1% THD is terrible.

I know Yamaha rated like that, and I presume all other mainstream receivers do the same.

You should always buy receivers based on their features, not their (imaginary) power ratings.

  • Does it do ATMOS?
and Multi Zone for Spotify etc

    • No, It does not have Atmos.
      It's has Spotify build in.

    • If you went to the trouble of doing ATMOS, why would you spend under 1k on a reciever anyway? Stupid.

  • Waiting on a similar deal for the Denon AVR-X2200W

  • I can never work out how these avrs can be cheaper than their 2 channel brethren

    • Gonna guess two things contribute to it… They make more of these and stereo gear is more a niche thing now with people who can and do spend big dollars. Mind you the stereo amps are much higher regarded.
