They stuffed up my order on eBay when it was last $299. I haven't received neither the phone or a refund.
Was pretty disappointed when the eBay listing showed it was available for next-day pickup but then nothing eventuated.
The same happened to my order, but I eventually got it by my own initiative. The trick is to use the tracking number that Dick Smith email provides. In my case, the package was addressed to me with an dick smith shop address. "Toll" tried to deliver it but failed and then dump it to some obscure newsagent(certified Toll collection point) in another suburb. Without contact information on the package it left at the newsagent for days and no party cared to delivered it anywhere. Dick Smith shop staff are unaware how "Toll" works. I blame DS HQ for putting the customer name and addressing it to a shop where I clearly don't live at. Merry Xmas :)
That's what has happened to my order but the Toll tracking is still showing that it's only "Booked". It was addressed to the DSE Sydney CBD store, under my name,. but nothing has budged.
I'm just trying to recoup the original payment on it at this point in time.

id dick smith does not fix this major delivery glitch it may lose even more money.
happy to admit I might be blind - but I cannot see this offer on their website - when i got to the R7 page, it has a 'Buy Now' button, which links to their store locator page. The R7plus 'buy now' link goes to the product page. Any ideas?
Same, their website is hopeless and the sale supposedly ends today. Went to two stores and no stock…
Got this for my girlfriend (to replace a Galaxy S4. It seems a bit zippier and brighter) and were finding it pretty good. The lack of app drawer is a bit of a pain, but found ZenUI a good launcher. Set it as the default launcher in the prefs. It automatically groups apps according to type in folders.
BTW, the Oppo comes with a screen protector and basic clear plastic case.
Had none left in Chadstone which is not surprising. On the website it just re-directs to the store locator. I looked at the phone in Chadstone and it feelt good and sturdy. The offer ends on 30/12/2015 but I am skeptical as to whether they will get any more stock in.
This was classic bait and switch as I checked the website on Christmas eve (sale start) and it did the same store locator thing then. At that time I thought they had just dicked the sale page up but it didn't come good through out the duration of the sale. Staff in the stores I tried said they were unlikely to get stock.
Yes, however it was heavily promoted when I went into the store today. It was all over the security posts etc and when I asked, they had no stock. What a shame. It would be interesting to know how many units were sold. Probably not a lot. It looked like a great phone too. Oh well, on to the next one eh?
I've just called DSE and they have no stock whatsoever. They said that it is on the website for a future dated sale, when I asked why it was on there when the offer ends today they just said that I should check on the website from time to time for when the sale starts. Shame on DSE, what terrible tactics.
It's ridiculous, yesterday they sent another boxing day sale email and it was on that. Dicks.
