Not sure if its a deal so please go easy on me. There seem to be some other good TV deals as well.

Thanks. Upon closer look the postage might be a deal breaker for some.
the 42" refurb is an amazing deal if I do say so myself:

$279 is okay. But it's been as low as $159 :)
woof.

Deal for me! Went to pickup a 2nd hand one off Gumtree on the weekend for my father in law which fell through, so it's come at a good time - Thanks for sharing!
I am on the hunt for a cheap spare bedroom TV. I as tempted and looked at this, but I really do not like having to join just to find out shipping costs.
agreed - wonder how much to ship a 42" to Brisbane?
The 32" was $50 to Brisbane
I just bought the FHD one 42". Been looking for one for my spare room so perfect timing! Close to me as well so save on the freight costs. Thanks OP
why not + the deal then?
Have to agree on the freight, it knocks off any savings for me, sorry.
Postage $50 for me (Sydney).
Dangit!Its $130 to WA.
The $10 REFURBISHED 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System looks interesting.
Description says that it has 1x AUX input. Is a cheap sound upgrade to go with the refurbished TV's!
Found a previous post on OzBargain about these speakers:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/208748#comment-3028261Looks like even the refurbished speakers can still have problems. The website mentions a 18 month warranty on all refurbished products but I think they won't reimburse freight.
Their refurb tvs are poor quality
in what way?
Ummm, think about it….
(Hint: They have already failed at least once).
It's just unsubstantiated comment. For all we know the refurbs could have a better/lower failure rate than the new ones (unless someone publishes data otherwise)
Use the voucher WELCOME2015 to get $5 off your order too, if you're buying more than $30.
Picked mine up last week. Start up time is a bit slow, but other than that, picture quality is really good. For $275 and 18 months warranty, don't think you can really get anything that's comparable (except maybe the DSE branded ones).
Don't worry mate, it's a deal, well done! (I should qualidy that I haven't checked shipping, but if it's reasonable I don't think that not being FHD is a problem on a 32" TV).
