A fantastic price on a Grainfather, rarely are these discounted below RRP.
Confirmed these are latest v3 model.
Shipping for the grainfather and sparge urn was $35 to Brisbane, not bad.

good deal in that case
same price as release price with the 'upgrade/fixes'…
they up to v3 already? not knocking just curious.
My rig is similar in principle and it keeps me happy. Mine is just twice the size and cost me 1/3 the price.
Did you buy yours as a kit or assemble it yourself?
$999 buys a lot of beer
Just the other day I saw a statistic that claims the average British guy downs 1100 pints a year. For someone like that this rig would pay itself back quite quickly…
Anyone have any thoughts on these vs a braumeister?
The keg king setup looks glorified brew in a bag. Still not a terrible price vs buying urn, chiller etc seperately.
Braumeister is 2.5 times better. Not really. Once you understant your system you will get good results. I believe the BM is the best PNP rig. The GN is not bad, but I am aware of the designs shortcomings and program my brew accordingly.
Worth mentioning the Robobrew also, these are a cheaper competing product and with them hitting the market I've been expecting to see some GF dicounts.

In my opinion the quality of Keg King products matches their price.
