I was excited about this until I saw the exchange rate…

  • How much does cash passport cost to register?

  • I meant how much does the cash passport cost?

  • Seems like citibank plus is still the best deal ~

Cash Passport is a joke, they give terrible exchange rates. Do not bother with them

OP, you stated all the positives very clearly.
How about a broad view of the details regarding this deal? To determine whether it is a bargain or not. In the Title too.

It's better you do it once than 1000 Ozb visitors going to find out the full detais themselves.

I may neg this deal as it stands.

This is a ripoff. "MasterCard® rate plus a margin of 5.95% of the transaction value. The MasterCard rate is the exchange rate determined by MasterCard to be their wholesale rate or the government mandated rate in effect in the day the transaction is processed by MasterCard."

So you make 75 plus dollars on your margin from the initial load and then give back 25. (1500 by 5%)

    That's a $50 fee for changing 1500 bucks. What a rort!

Neg for this one. It ain't a bargain when Citibank do it TOTALLY FREE.
