      I didn't receive a voucher for 3 days after activation. Then I saw in spam I had the "verify email address" email from Amaysim and hadn't done that. Within 30 seconds after clicking the email verification I received the $25 voucher email. Might be coincidence, but thought I'd share to maybe help out if you haven't verified email this might be the cause.

      Otherwise, just do online chat with Amaysim - they are very good and accommodating.

        SIM activation all fine

        I went to online chat today, they say they have "a number of people" have not received the voucher. They will call me back they say not sure

          I did live chat earlier as well and they also said they will call me within 24-78 hours. Why do they need to call us? Just send us the damn voucher via email!!

      I got one on the same account and I know others here have got multiple vouchers from the one account. I would try chatting to someone else until you can find someone that can help you. That always seems to work with Amaysim.

      Sometimes the reps said so but system will send you the voucher automatically in fact. I was in the same situation when I used a refer a friend promo code for myself instead.

    Also if your sim card came in 6 days late like mine, contact online chat and they will credit the days lost. I got and extra $7.98 added to my As You Go credit to make of for the lost days.

    I bought the SIM on 23:33 9/12 applied the code, screen showed $5, paid it. Got the SIM and activated it yesterday, no voucher. Live chat with CSR and they said I did not applied the code, checked the invoice in their email, it showed full price, checked my bank account and it was charged 39.90, they could not do anything about it and offer me 34.90 credit for next month. What a loaf of bull****, call my bank to file a dispute and they ask me to prove that I applied the code. ****
    Always take a screenshot before paying guys. I learn the lesson the hard way.

          @cn_flame: Nah, just lesson learned. Next time remember to take a screenshot and always go through paypal, you can see if the code is applied or not easier with paypal, don't use your CC

    Hmm, I was getting worries that my voucher would never show. Then they sent me 2 vouchers per sim, so now I have six vouchers and three spare sims with $10 sign up credits. If the vouchers all work this is likely the best sim deal ever.

    was a hassle and a half just activating the sim. weird activation process meant i'd set up an additional new number instead. couldn't load live chat on my computer, couldn't get through to their call centre. finally fb chat worked and they sorted it out this morning. also asked them about the ebay voucher and they say it should be sent in about 3 business days.

    so i miss out on stacking with the ebay 10% off but whatever. i've ordered another sim which should be arriving soon so hopefully another $25 off

      also, you should receive the ebay voucher in 2-3 working days, I have opened 9 accounts and received all my voucher in 3 days.

    I have previously had an Amaysim account, and registered using the same e-mail address. This is definitely a "new service" but not a new account. Although their account system seems to go by mobile number, not email address, anyway.

    I mentioned the eBay page that says the offer is still on.

      More likely all vouchers have been sent (to those with preactivatd SIMs or those who have already ported) or allocated to those yet to activate (port) - based on number taking up offer before expiry date.

      Of course those who ported got the full 30 days service, so have up to 30 days from port date to stop renewal.

      Easiest is to deactivate auto-renew straight after you ordered & check later. I also set payment to Bpay to be sure.

      You could have Googled the question…

      Settings - wireless & networks - more -tethering & portable hotspot
      Configure & activate it.

      Possibly slightly different on different versions of Android.

      I use handy Wifi Hotspot (free on Play) to turn it on/off after configured.

        When I use my telstra sim it works simply, however wasn't able to do the same with amaysim.

          Best to fully define your problem to get the right answer.

          Does the internet work on the phone before attempting to Tether, using Amaysim?

          I'm using it tethered now on Amaysim.
          I've used the same set up (above) as I used with Telstra, Vodafone, Optus, Woolworths, Boost. Didn't change anything.

          One thing is I need to reboot the connected device being tethered to the phone every so often. But I haven't used this new device tethered before.

    Amaysim sucks. Ordered nearly two months ago, no sim arrived and when I followed up first time they said it has been sent out and will send another as the first one may have gotten lost in mail, nothing, followed up second time, this time I was told I wasn't ever eligible for the offer anyway so no SIM card was ever sent out. WTF so I have no sim, no ability to activate to hope for the voucher, and it was only as a result of my follow up that I find conflicting stories, never again. Poor form by amaysim
