    That resolution though…

  • how is only online, are they realiable? was searching another toshiba laptop on their website. refurbished. but never buy from they. not sure.

    • Online Only is owned by Greys Online and have good customer service plus you have a return policy if your not happy with the item, I've purchased from them twice before but it was manufacturer refurbished Asus products which appeared to be brand new, I dont know about the quality of Toshiba refurbs but you get a 12 month warranty and will be redirected to Toshiba so the question should be does Toshiba have good quality refurbs and good customer service?

    • thanks looks like their reputation is not bad.

      • my toshiba refurb is like a brand new :)

        • hey man, is there a way to check the charge cycle of your battery?

        • actually i am looking at the p50t b01r. one concern is that i am not sure is it difficulty to upgrade ssd. as i brought a 850 evo and did some research on how to do with dell inspiron 15. will it be the same?i checked website, looks like toshiba is more complicate. never change ssd before.

        • @casmxl:

just wanted to check if they shipped it with new batteries, I remember there was a way to roughly check how many times have the battery been charged

        • @seigweilo:
sorry i don't know how to do check and i have mine for a while already.

        • @ce5himm:
          i have p50t too :)
according to Youtube, only need to remove all 14 screws at the bottom. But after recent window 10 upade, i am happy to wait until the warranty expire(just in case).

Why…..such good specs paired with such low res display, why….

  • 1366x768, never again on anything larger than a 4" phone…

    • same resolution as my first 12 years old laptop

    • -1

Not really 100% comparable. Viewing distance phone vs laptop is vastly different. Same reason why 1080p 55" tvs don't look ugly as sin, because you're not sitting 6" away from it.

Pls dont buy this as i bought it last time

    1. Toshiba uses the plastic body which is not up to the mark no sturdiness.
    2. Low screen resolution kills the display , no use in bright light.
    3. low battery life just in between 2-3 hours

Nothing worth to spend money on it .. Hope it helps

You can get a brand new Lenovo i7 for $600, why bothers with this second hand laptop for the same price?
